okay so we should probably finalize our activity plans and make the thumbnails for at least the first couple since the session is approaching fast! I'm planning on sharing the merch shop soon just without banners for now, and I can edit it later with them <33

I'll start drafting the thumbnails on our canva so feel free to edit/change whatever on them! then you can also easily access them to download and upload onto scratch projects

task 1 and 2 should be our main priority right now!

task 1
- the only thing on our to-do is to make the riddles! you don't really need to make them if that's hard but I searched some of these up <3 here's my three - and you need to make three as well!

- also, do you want to construct the description as well? if you do, just make sure to include that campers can do as many as they want, as long as we have more than just a couple people doing the tasks. also, remind them not to search up the riddles online
and I don't have any specific instructions (?) but I think maybe just say something along the lines of “solve these riddles and one of us leaders will reply to your comment with the activity you unlock!” aaaaand mention that its an icebreaker activity as well

- I'd say lets try to get the campers to complete task one by the first 3-4 days, so we can then hopefully move onto the next task!

-btw in the canva, i'll organize it so each riddle corresponds to a certain activity with the numbers!

- sorry another thing, but do you think that each time a camper solves a riddle you can update it with the answer & activity? plus how many people have completed it! try to mention in the description that once you've completed a task you should comment on the project

also, I kind of have a little suggestion to tweak our storyline a bit! if there's a lot of people interested in doing a collab story, it may take long assuming each camper takes up the full 24 hours to write their part. so my proposal is to possibly have the collab story as an ongoing thing throughout the entirety of camp? this way campers could have a little more time!

for the time duration of the collab story, maybe we could replace it with a fun team sort of game? without all the complicated riddles and stuff!! my idea is maybe like a mini in-cabin cabin wars? campers would be split up into two teams, and each team could challenge the other team with writing prompts similar to dailies! we would def have to figure out the logistics like how often they can give these prompts and so on, but what do you think of the ideas?

I know this is all a little last minute, but I believe in us to make it work! I think its also better off if we don't have the collab story just for a weeks worth of time - since it gives a less amount of campers an opportunity to participate - so we can just adapt our plans <3

Yep I will! I'll do the riddles ASAP, no later than tonight <3 For the desc, would that be writing the description for the Task 1 project, or just drafting the format? I'll keep you updated! but that would only be a few hours on one day, so shouldn't affect me too much ^^

You walk into Hawthorne House and look at the paper tied to the door. On it are some instructions: ”Hello Campers! For this task, you must solve riddles to receive an icebreaker activity to complete with the other campers. You cannot look up the answers online, and please make sure that it's not just one or two people doing all of the activities. Once you've solved a riddle, Mabel or Fab will reply to you and give you the icebreaker. Good luck!” You walk into the room and receive the first riddle to solve.

as for the description, it looks good! only comment is I would add a bit on the actual context of the activity? like something along the lines of

“For this phase, solve the following riddles and post the answers in the comments - no cheating! Then, you'll be able to unlock fun icebreaker activities that go with them. You'll have to complete all 6 activities in order to move on to the next phase, and each activity will have a certain amount of people that need to complete them. But make sure everyone gets a chance to play; good luck!”

yay!! once camper signups come out, i'll sort the campers into two groups <33 you can lead one and i'll lead the other - maybe we could make separate studios for this? I'm thinking we can name them something like team clubs and team hearts or something like that since that was our initial wcg idea

we dooo need to figure out the details on this, so I was thinking instead of the traditional cabin wars where cabins war each other, maybe every X hour both teams will get a prompt and 1-2 people have to complete it, and the team that finishes more “wins”? on this part we'll obviously have to emphasize the friendly competition <3 maybe their prize can be a couple keys or something!

and if we go with the above idea, we'll both have to come up with some prompts! before that, we need to decide how often the prompts will appear (but before we go into this, lmk ur comments on this idea and if you have any other ideas that we can add/change <333)
