I'm not really sure! I only know about raycasting, but there's definitely more than one way to make a 3D game. If you need help, maybe ask awesome-llama.

You could make prerendered 3D graphics. Kinda like Donkey Kong Country. It's not 3D, but it can look pretty good.

You would use complicated math and the pen extension. I am working on a 3D engine using C++, but it is honestly probably harder on Scratch.

Very complicated coding that may take months.

I can tell you ways, I can do rasterization, raytracing, pathtracing, raymarching, DDA raytracing, 2.5D Raycasting, etc. You don't want 2.5D Raycasting so just tell me which one you want and incase you don't know what these are just tell me what your goal isI think the best project on scratch is the mast created awesome-llamaI'm not really sure! my goal is to make a 3d game without using raycast like “the mast” by awesome-llama not that complex though.I can tell you ways, I can do rasterization, raytracing, pathtracing, raymarching, DDA raytracing, 2.5D Raycasting, etc. You don't want 2.5D Raycasting so just tell me which one you want and incase you don't know what these are just tell me what your goal isI think the best project on scratch is the mast created awesome-llamaI'm not really sure! You could use math to draw triangles that then form 3D shapes, like this project by randomguy48. Might run bad though

essentially you want to keep track of a 3 by 3 rotation matrix and then you take the 3d vectors of every point, subtract the vector of the cam pos from them, and multiply them with your rotation matrix and then get the angles from the camera to them to find where on the screen they should be.
You might want to put them all in a list and sort them on how far they are (a z buffer) and then render them in that order so the layering is correct.
Usually you have shapes made of triangles consisting of three vertices each, which you can fill with a tri fill.
EDIT: I vaguely know there's also a way to do it with 4 by 4 matrix and quaternions or smt, but I don't quite understand that.

Yeah, raycasting is pretty basic now, I highly recommened starting using tutorials by @mathmathmath and @CodingBio and look at other peoples projectsmy goal is to make a 3d game without using raycast like “the mast” by awesome-llama not that complex though.I can tell you ways, I can do rasterization, raytracing, pathtracing, raymarching, DDA raytracing, 2.5D Raycasting, etc. You don't want 2.5D Raycasting so just tell me which one you want and incase you don't know what these are just tell me what your goal isI think the best project on scratch is the mast created awesome-llamaI'm not really sure! @randomguy48 is making a video series on YouTube where he documents remaking Super Mario 64 in Scratch. What he has so far might interest you
