Job for ALL CODERS
Please create ONE game for the eShop. I have noticed a bit of off topic so we should get back on track.[/center
-CANNOT be a Nintendo first-party game
-Design your game with the 16:9 black bars in mind. Anything outside of the black bars will be covered.
-Must be in 1-2 sprites
-Cannot have more than 500 blocks of code total
-Refrain from using broadcasts, or be VERY SPECIFIC on naming them. (e.g. don’t name your broadcast “Start”)
NAMING VARIABLES

USE THIS STRUCTURE OR VARIABLES MIGHT GET SWITCHED
HOW TO ADD YOUR GAME TO THE PROJECT written by @QwertyGreen (this is optional: you can have someone else add it for you.)
read this entirely, or you will get lost and do it wrong. (sorry its intimidating.)
~ Notes ~
- your game has to be small. (I'd say no more over 3 sprites. Clones can be used. Preferably a One-Sprite game.)
- design your game with the black bars in mind. (I didn't and it was annoying)
~ Importing Your Game ~
First of all, replace any green flag clicked blocks that start the game with a new broadcast event (must be the name of your game. we don't want contradiction). under one of those broadcasts add a block that sets the location variable to GAME. specifically in ALL CAPS. you have now imported your game so it should work if you click the assigned broadcast.
You've imported your game, now it just needs to be buyable in the e-Shop and accessible through the home menu / All Games menu.
~ Covers ~
You need a cover for your game. actually, you need 3 (technically four). they are all costumes in this sprite. They are named; Home Menu, e-Shop Big and e-Shop Small. Before you make your covers though, there are a few rules. Rule 1: The cover CANNOT go outside the outline. Rule 2: The cover HAS to have the objects already in the template, only change the thing that says GAME NAME. Rule 3: NO FALSE ADVERTISING.
Now that I told you those rules, to make your covers, RIGHT CLICK the costume and DUPLICATE it. I do not want anyone stealing the templates. Now you can make the covers.
I assume you are here because you finished your covers, so before moving them to where they go, one last thing; naming the covers. The Home Menu cover should be simply be re-named to your game's name but simplified, for example my game ‘Button Smasher’ I simplified to BSmasher. Do the same for the big e-Shop one but with ‘Big’ at the end, and the small one is the same but put ‘Small’ instead. There, naming done.
First, adding it to the home menu. Drag the corresponding Costume to the ‘Games’ sprite and the ‘AG Games’ sprite. That's it for that costume. Now, the e-Shop icons. Drag each costume into the sprite called ‘E-Shop Games’ TWICE, check if they actually went in and once they did, delete your covers from this sprite, you don't need them here anymore. And now go into the E-Shop Games sprite and with the second version of each cover, (remember, there should be two. Duplicate them if there isn't.) copy the corresponding costumes to them; ‘Big Select’ to the Big2 and replace the 2 with Select, then do the same for Small2 with the ‘Small Select’ costume.
No deadline.
