If you are using the source editor, then remember that there also exists a visual editor.
But, making it even more simple is just not possible.
It just takes some time to get used to it.

You can use the visual editor. It's based on MediaWiki, so Wikitext was already there.

I remember there being a “cheat sheet” guide to the editor.

Yes, it's located at Scratch Wiki:Cheatsheet

Sorry, I don't understand. Categories are formatted as:
[[Category:Users' Images]] <!-- Image category, but the same code. -->
[[Category:Stack Blocks]] <!-- Same syntax -->
It's case-sensitive, BTW.

When you upload images, it should be at S:UPLOAD.

Speaking of, why do we have to use TinyPNG in specific to compress stuff? Why wouldn’t other compressors work for that?

that's because you need to register a separate account to access the scratch wiki

if you want to join follow EVERYTHING and make sure you have all the requirements.

you can join through S:JOIN. best of luck if you decide to apply!

I have some suggestions for the Wiki:
1. Separate article for remix trees (I know the there is already a section on remix trees on the remixes, but I think it deserves a its own article even if it is deleted)
2. Section on usercards in the article of Scratch project trends
Hello, why isn't anybody noticing my suggestions?

TinyPNG is the most efficient.

I don't understand #2.
1 is a good idea; you should put it on the CP (if you're an editor).

For 1: I'm not an editor, which why I'm suggesting it here
For 2: Usercards are project which are typically just still images with no code that has an attribute (for lack of a better term) that can describe some user (This studio has loads of them: https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/31396683/)

However, there isn't that much to say about Remix Trees… Pages need to have lots of information and the section about it explains it quite nicely.
I do agree with the usercards, though! I didn't know they were called that.

Why don't you apply to be an editor?

I don't know why, I just don't feel I have enough information about scratch and don't feel worthy of becoming an editor, sometimes though I want to apply just for fun and to add some small contributions. Hmmmm
