Updating Scratch Studio pages toward a Scratch 4.0/NGP look
What I’m suggesting
Scratch studio pages could be easier to read and use by having a clearer layout, more spacing, and better separation between different sections.
Why
Right now, studios can feel crowded, especially on desktop. The studio description is always visible, whether scratchers are reading it or not, and the current layout lacks several features needed for a smooth, hassle-free experience, such as a “leave studio” button at reach without scrolling. The split-layout design also wastes valuable space and misses the opportunity to introduce features that would make studios feel more like interactive hubs within Scratch.
Example
I built a working prototype to show how this idea could look and feel. This is just a concept to illustrate the idea:

The layout and features you are proposing are quite intuitive (Albiet at first glance the pages look quite complicated) I hooe Scratch Team will see your topic and take some inspiration from you! Also, what do you use for these mockups?

That's their plan “Improved studio experience.”Yes, but It’s vague, so it could mean something else. Like zooming thumbnails to fill instead of stretching them out (which would be very welcomed)

Also, what do you use for these mockups?I primarily code these mockups in HTML, and this is my first, and probably last, time using Next.js. The main reason I chose it was for better compatibility with other tools and to improve the overall look and structure of the project. However, it feels unnecessarily complicated for simple mockups, especially since I could have created a similar version using plain HTML and CSS.
I'll try using design software instead next time.

Looks a little bit too modern for scratch. I recomend you simplify it

Looks a little bit too modern for scratch. I recomend you simplify itEhh simpler designs would probably cause a lot of backlash, and the upcoming NGP UI will probably look a lot like this anyway

Support. I originally disliked the mockups at first but arguably now thinking of it compared to 3.0, there is much more color and variation here.
