As much as I love scratch, I can't seem to be find a perfect way to make a horror game that isn't too scary.

Does anyone have any tips or ideas they can share? (Yes I know that jumpscares are either supposed to not be scary or just don't add them, no blood, no gore, and no too scary stuff.)

How do I make a horror game feel suspense without having horror?

psychological horror. make them question everything. mess with their head.
