- our general storyline right now is just going to be the campers solving puzzles & tasks to earn something! here's some potential questions we can think about:

- is there a prize at the end that they get?? (in the actual book its money, obviously we can't give them that but we could just make a pretty slides or something xD)
- how many puzzles/tasks?? I find that its usually the same campers that do the tasks, but I've seen a lot of people be interested in doing crosswords or word searches so those are definitely an activity suggestion since many participate in those!!

Symbols I like the club, otherwise knight and king (♘ and ♔) look pretty good in my opinion xD

I'd say wait until all/most cabin teams are complete before deciding relationships.

Cabin Atmosphere

~I know how I said I wanted the cabin to be mostly competitive in mine haha, but honestly I'm good with anything! <3 (It was actually mostly because if I was going to lead a cabin I wanted to theme it after The Hunger Games, since I know the new movie is coming out lol, and I thought it would be kind of fun if the stakes were kind of high haha - like sort of competing for the ‘honor’ of your district, or of the Capitol etc. xD)
Also, I'll totally try to brainstorm some ideas for the storyline!

Cabin Symbol

~I think if the initial theme was The Grandest Game then I feel like the ♧ is the way to go, considering it's on the cover, but honestly I feel like the ♘ too is good because (this is just from me reading the excerpt online haha) but Avery mentions knights at the very beginning of the story- and I don't know, maybe it could just reference the beginning of the story-? From where Avery starts to then? (Because from what I read for the synopsis also of The Grandest Game they're now also getting more players to come to the main mansion-so it's like these people are also just starting out from *likely not billions of dollars* haha-plus, if you search up The Inheritance Games symbols the first one that really comes up is the ♘ :0)
Anyways, please keep in mind these are just my inferences *without* having read the story haha!
(also I'm like completely okay with being spoiled haha- I've accidentally spoiled myself one too many times with book series and still ended up really enjoying them xD)

Storyline

~Sounds good with me! But also, I'd love to make crosswords/word searches! I think that'd be really fun and in theme, from what I've read lol, and I'd suggest doing either 3-5 tasks? Not too many, but just a few so we could maybe have like one per week- or just enough so that more campers have the chance to solve them, instead of just like 1-2 of the same people. Then again, I think limiting the tasks to just a handful would be a good idea in the long run since I feel like as a camper I kind of get trying just to write towards a word goal-most people aren't really focused as much on the tasks, at least as far as I've found in the past. And, I mean, it would be fun to have everyone actually complete the storyline hehe <3

okay since fab isn't comfortable with a shared canva (which is completely fine btw <3) I'm going to use a very old project (I will set this up later) so that I can insert all our cabin aesthetics, fonts, etc, so that the design will be able to stay cohesive!! I'm also going to input a cabin calendar this session where we can reference easily just for all our due dates & when one of us may be inactive!! (if you have any dates that you could share now, please tell me asap!! this is for inactivity for over 24 hours <3)

for the cabin atmosphere, maybe do we all want to come up with one related to our general theme then we can eventually combine them? so all of us have generally agreed on:

in the past, when I've done shared word count groups, only one person manages it at a time! so for instance we all get assigned a specific week and a half-ish(?) and we add words during that time period! since only one person can actually be a studio manager we will just change who is the manager of the studio from time to time.

I think having 3-5 tasks sounds great!

at the beginning of camp, maybe we could just start of with an activity to get everyone to know each other? we can incorporate this into our storyline as a task so that the campers don't think there's too much work! it could be pretty simple and not have a minimum OR maximum on how many campers participate? such as:

“Go find at least one new friend and interact with someone in our cabin that you haven't talked to before! Once finished, report back to this project and comment two new things you've learned about them.”

or something along those lines! thoughts?

I think having a crossword over a word search is a good activity idea!! I think its more working together instead of searching for words that are there already <33 does anyone want to specifically make this? Im not sure what the theme of the crossword would be… having it around swc would be fun except some campers are inexperienced and wouldn't know whats going on… same with anything the inheritance games themed since many people who join probably haven't read the book yet!

or we could ask for volunteers potentially and ask them a question about them (I.e. favorite color) and then put that on the crossword! then it'll be a little more interactive where campers go around asking (co)leaders about them <3

I just worry it might be too similar to the main cabin's theme.

~Oh my goodness I love the idea of naming them after the Teams!!! <3 (I was wondering if they were actually canon and I was right hehe xD <3) I think it could be even better too because I put like a symbol on the PFPs of a heart- I was thinking the campers might be able to decide to what they wanted, since that's kind of what they had on the actual cards I was looking at on insta hehe- but that makes it even cooler in my opinion! Like, maybe they would have to comment their WCG so I could determine what shape they are getting hehe- creates a little bit of in cabin competition without being competitive at all haha <33)

hmm for the blurb, just a quick introduction of maybe the campers receiving an invitation and then time skip to when we meet them? honestly that's my idea and you have total creative freedom as long as it includes us introducing ourselves to them, and the basic outline of the storyline!

in that case, I don't think we need one! most cabin guides are just like meet the leaders, storyline, and things that campers need to know for activities! since our storyline is fairly simple and the task projects itself will be probably self explanatory, I don't think its necessary ^^
