Maybe these people just think scratchcat (either their pfp or account) is cool and just copy their pfp, I haven't heard anything about a “war” though

Why do people change their profile pictures? I've had this one since 2024-25
People might just like a new one better. As for me, I just add little quality of life “patches” to mine.
Though most people change it for April Fools.
