Hm, here are some ways I think you can do
+ Active in the community (replying to comments, giving feedback, especially in SDS or SES)
+ Make good projects and advertise them,

If you’re going to advertise, make sure you advertise in places that say advertising. Although, completely not advertising would be better.


To get more popular on scratch you can

-Make quality, fun projects
-Add them to tons of studios (like hundreds, this should work if you have a good thumbnail)
-Making a project for the SDS (it could get front paged and could get you some views)
-Adding tags can work now, if they get indexed
-Competing in/winning contests
-Helping out in the community

And there’s so much more you can do, trust me, these are things how I’ve gotten popular. (Some of them)
