I don't know about him, but when it comes to internet trends, I live behind a tinted car window.

(I know what Pizza Tower is, it's a game that lost to some dumb bug in the GOTY 2023 nominations)

To my knowledge, Special Stages have always been a gameplay thing and nothing more. They aren't canonical.

they actually used to be relevant in Sonic the Comic as the “Special Zone” but idk if Fleetway is still canon, considering that Sonic Adventure is the last mainline Sonic game they retold (and the last batch of Sonic comics overall)

Pizza Tower is basically, in the most simpliest way i can, a game about a dude called Peppino, who's essentially Courage the Cowardly Dog if he paid taxes, saving his pizzeria from being turned into ashes by a floating pizza pie that's being controlled by a slice of pizza (and he teams up with a gnome called Gustavo). it's basically a 90s Cartoon Network show mixed with Warioware

Blast is the worst. And the only differences between the Mega Drive and Saturn versions of 3D Blast are cosmetic. No gameplay changes whatsoever.
