I put if touching black then change yvelocity or xvelocity by -50 or -5 0r -10. Please help!

Firstly, make sure the sensor's looking for the same black you're using. If that checks out, can you send a picture of the script?

I would recommend not using “if touching (color)” as it will slow down your game. Instead use if touching sprite.
