ONE BLOCK THAT I WANT

SCRATCH PLEASE ADD A (replace letter {number} of {string} with {string}) BLOCK IT WOULD BE SO NICE TO HAVE.

I KNOW IT CAN BE MADE WITH CUSTOM BLOCKS BUT IT REALLY SEEMS LIKE SOMETHING THAT SHOULD BE IN SCRATCH.

Yeah, this would be very useful, and understandable

but

my friend

scratch team don't care. Maybe I am just being pessimistic and only see the worst in people, but I am pretty sure it won't get added :(

Past experience of good ideas not getting added:

Exponent block,
Custom blocks returning values,
Dark mode,
Point towards xy block,
This, which was already suggested 10 years ago, before many of us were born,

These are all pretty good ideas? But despite being suggested a long time ago and being in the official list of suggestions they, miraculously, have not been added. Instead we have face sensing. So yeah, I don't think its happening.

we can't really see behind the scenes but im sure the reason is more than “ST don't care”
i do think they should be more transparent on these things though

Yes, sorry to say this, but most suggestions are never added all suggestions are never added.

jokes on you i do have dark mode (addons) also the other three i have wanted before
Edit: for some reason it didnt let me make it say scratch before addons

yes, scratch does not allow the names of extensions because they are unverified and may contain malware (of course you and I both know that that is not the case but scratch cannot make sure of it).
