***READ THIS BEFORE MAKING TOPICS ABOUT EXPLORE OR SEARCH NOT WORKING***
(Sorry for the large title - It is so that this topic gets attention)
Recently, there has been a large amount of topics being created about the Explore page or Search Bar not working. This causes a large number of Duplicates to appear, which clogs up the list of topics in the Bugs and Glitches forum with the same bug(s). This topic here is to (hopefully) slow down/remove all the duplicates.
If you want to make a topic about one of these bugs, then don't make it!
Without further ado, here is the explanation of the bugs:
Search Bar not working
This bug refers to the search bar not showing any results, no matter what you searched.
The bug that people make topics about is that when you search something up, it gives the error “Nothing found” or just not showing anything at all.
The current solution to this bug is by going to your browser and then typing this in the search bar of your browser (preferably a Chromium-based browser):
If you replace the three dots (…) with the thing you want to search, then a list of projects, studios, profiles or forum posts will appear about the thing you searched. Please keep in mind that this solution is not perfect as it might not display everything you want to search, and sometimes it just doesn't show any results.
There is no exact explanation on why this bugs is happening, but some people have speculated that the bug is part of a transition to the Next Generation Platform.
Explore Page not working
The bug that people make topics about this is that the explore page doesn't show any projects and/or studios. Unlike the Search Bar bug, this one doesn't have a (simple) solution. There might be some kind of “Trending” option on browsers, but the majority of people doesn't have that option.
However, if the explore page does show projects, then it will most likely only show old projects that were made years ago.
The reason why this is the case is because the Scratch Team intentionally “removed” new projects from appearing on the explore page. This is because inappropriate projects were showing up on the explore page and the indexer if enough users (mostly bots) loved it at the same time.
The explore page is currently being ‘curated’, which means that only specific projects can show up that were curated.

Please use the existing topic. This is effectively just another dupe.
