This would deter kids from Scratch
Changing the logo is identical
Donors would prefer something that is Scratch

Pretty sure it's a cat because they wanted it to be a regular household animal people are very familiar with

Tigers as a regular sprite is fine, but as a mascot that defines the character of the entire website is not good

it should just be in other costumes then (in my opinion)

But that would break projects that use the 2 costumes as a walk cycle
