as for the leader app questions, i think we could change question 3– “what genres do you enjoy writing in” i think this wouldn't play much a role in deciding how a good a leader someone would be, or it could be merged with cabin ideas?

I agree, I think the genre question is a bit unnecessary! We could replace it with another question, or we could remove it altogether
