it's been like that for years (aside from a brief few months when it hosted a weird scratchfoundation.org-style site)

I tested this in 2019-2022 and redirect since Scratch 2.0 because i tested scratch.net scratch.org and scratch.com get a other company called Scratch

.5 its still scratch 3.0, not is just a update to the website engine and structure and look, not the scratch editor/viewer
And I'm pretty sure we are never getting anything called scratch 3.5 unless the scratch team turns into pavement, and we are not getting scratch 4.0 anytime soon, like maybe a long while after people get used to NGP, so uhm… Check your sources bro

NO. The NGP is an update to the community website, where you share projects and view profiles. Scratch itself will not update.
