How did @codubee make it so their pfp changed every refresh?!

probably because they're the director of technology, my guess is maybe they coded it themselves or something since it's not possible to do so as a regular scratcher

i mean you can code anything, chances are they just did a website-code version of this:

when green flag clicked
switch costume to (pick random (...) to (...))

or maybe

when green flag clicked
point in direction (pick random (...) to (...)
set [idk v] effect to (pick random (...) to (...)

probably not that hard to do, it's just that we don't have access to the code of the scratch website so that's why we can't do it ourselves of course, which makes it seem impossible but i imagine if we did probably tons of people would be able to do it

Its also the pfpf itself. If you right click the pfp and open the image in a new tab, it behaves the same as it does on the site.

Plus they're the directector of tech and have access to the backend code and have the ability to code it themselves :p

you probably can't, codubee was probably able to because they work for st and work on developing scratch itself

It would be great that any scratcher could make that pfp

Yes, otherwise it wouldn't work on scratchr2 either, since half the website is scratchr2.

why would this need to get bumped? it's resolved

to make a long story short, there's no way you can do this. codubee (presumably) hard coded it into scratch's servers so that their pfp is randomly rotated, the only way you could do this is to get a job at st and do the same thing.
