Any tips how to make your project less laggy??
im making an animation rn and its really laggy and offbeat on fullscreen but even if im not watching it on fullscreen its still kinda laggy..

use a better device or use turbowarp to animate, then upload it to scratch.

use turbowarp it looks sketchy but if anything its safer than scratch

try using delta time, there are some tutorials on how to make delta time on scratch

You said the problem is ‘offbeat’ so I’m going to assume you want the animation to stay in sync with some music. This example is one way to do that where the costumes are switched by using a timer block calculation and a join statement with the base costume name. https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/935844787/

use turbowarp it looks sketchy but if anything its safer than scratchTurbowarp is trusted by the Scratch Team and the community. It is not sketchy.

He said it LOOKS scetchy also he knows look at part in bolduse turbowarp it looks sketchy but if anything its safer than scratchTurbowarp is trusted by the Scratch Team and the community. It is not sketchy.

guys i found out that if you play the animation on the project's front page (not in fullscreen ofc) and not in the editor it doesnt lag
