Guide to Finding Duplicates

How do I use site:scratch.mit.edu/discuss/ ? I have a suggestion in mind, and the custom search by @redspacecat is still broken. My suggestion also did not appear on the Suggestions Dictionary. I just only want to do a last confirmation before actually posting it.

You should also add this search engine https://cse.google.com/cse?cx=c780c2dd7371f51d4 you can search up discussion titles there
Someone commented about this randomly in the “- The Forum People -” studio and that's how I found out about it https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/51759246/comments/#comments-326962651

This seems like a pretty good tool! Since it's technically an external site, I think I'll ask for ST permission to add it. Do you happen to know who made it so I can credit them with the creation?

Guide to Finding Duplicates

I asked my browser and got this response:
The URL https://cse.google.com/cse?cx=c780c2dd7371f51d4 is a Custom Search Engine (CSE) instance powered by Google. The cx parameter (c780c2dd7371f51d4) is a unique identifier for a specific search engine created by a webmaster or third-party developer, rather than Google’s main search engine.

Key Details:

Legitimacy: The domain itself is a legitimate Google service used to embed search functionality into other websites.
Purpose: It allows site owners to let users search specific websites or a curated set of sites, often displaying ad-supported results to generate revenue.
Privacy & Security: While the domain is safe, third-party CSEs can track search queries and share data with the creator. If this URL appears unexpectedly in your browser (e.g., as a default search engine or redirect), it likely indicates a browser hijacker or Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) has altered your browser settings to monetize your searches.
If you are encountering this URL unexpectedly, it is recommended to reset your browser’s default search engine to Google or another preferred provider and scan your system for adware or browser hijackers.

AI-generated answer. Please verify critical facts.
So it does sound like there are some safety concerns. Without more information about who built it and what it does exactly, I would hesitate recommending it to Scratchers.

Although it's an AI response, i'm an bit concerned about this.

I'll hold off on adding it, then. Does anyone have said information? If so, please let me know.

It would be a surprise if someone else hasn't already mentioned this, but ScratchPost is broken.

P.S.

The instruction are in the OP, but paste it into your search bar and after a space type your keywords. Example:

site:scratch.mit.edu/discuss/ color gobo

I tried it earlier and it didn't work. Having tried it again, it actually does work.
Turns out the space between the slash and the first keyword is important.

Because I had tested it and it was, in fact, not broken. :p
