About Taiko no Tatsujin
Taiko no Tatsujin (太鼓の達人; lit. 'Master of the Taiko') is a Japanese video game series developed and published by Namco (now Bandai Namco Entertainment). In the games, players simulate playing a taiko drum in rhythm with music. The series has released titles for the arcade as well as for console and mobile platforms, including PlayStation 2, Advanced Pico Beena, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, Wii U, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Microsoft Windows, iOS, Android, and Japanese feature phones. (taken from Wikipedia)

Features Implemented (so far)
-Automatically reading and playing tja files
-BPM changes
-Time signature changes
-HS (high speed) changes
-Go-go time
-Hidden barlines

Frequently asked (by nobody) questions
What is a tja file?
Tja files are a file format originally created to store charts for Taiko Sanjiro, a Taiko no Tatsujin simulator. While Sanjiro is mostly obsolete at this point, the tja file format is still widely used in many modern Taiko simulators.
The song won't load.
-Is the chart itself fine? Open it in another, much more functional simulator to see if it works there.
-Is the file corrupted? Seriously, 99% of orthodox charts *should* at least open.
-Ask me if you really have no idea why it doesn't work.
Some sections don't work.
60% of the time it's due to the song having BPM/HS (short for high speed, changes how fast a note scrolls) in the middle of a measure. Check inside the file to see if that is the case (if there is a row with a hashtag after a row that doesn't end with a comma, then that probably is the case). 30% of the time it's due to the chart having branches. Branching charts are NOT supported yet (but is planned to be in Beta V0.4), so please wait patiently until I implement them. Please report any strange issues to me so I can look into it
Drumrolls and balloons are still only partially supported, so that's that, too.

Enjoy

I did cheat a bit to get this screenshot (time signature changes are still not fully functional), but HS (and hidden barlines) are up and running in Beta V0.3!!

I haven't added a way to actually “play” because of timing issues and lag (making a rhythm game in Scratch is like trying to play Jenga during an earthquake), but if you want to load a chart, you can find one by googling “tja files” and click on whatever website that pops up, download and open the chart, copy the entire file into a separate .txt file, and load it in through Turbowarp by right clicking the list and selecting import.
Sorry for all this being technical, the simulator is still currently in beta and I am trying to make things more intuitive.
