I love how diffrent each flavor foley song is

maybe its because deco is one person and flavor foley is three
i like how consistent his style is
i mean i think he's been trying to change/do some different things with his compositions

sometimes i just lie down and think “is it wo-wa-ka and wo-ta-ku or is it actually o-wa-ka and o-ta-ku”
cause like the wo sound no longer exists in japanese they were too lazy to pronounce it so it became o (but the wo character still exists)
but like both the wo's in their names are in katakana so it's probably wo

yeah it's definitely because each flavor foley song has at least 2+ people working on the music, and all three of their music is like, quite different. and they only have like 14-ish songs as of now
deco on the other hand is a single person, he's been making songs since like 2008, his discography is quite long and he's affiliated with some side projects too (milgram as a popular example), so his music is bound to sound similar here and there

I consider myself pretty good at distinguishing between different voicebanks of the same character. But tbh if my life was on the line I would still not be able to distinguish between Adachi Rei Utau, V5 and V6. They all sound completely identical to me.
So. I really feel like Rei v5 does not need to exist then??? If you can download basically the same thing for free or buy a version with multilingual synthesis for the same price, then what’s the point??? I mean we don’t know what the prices will be since they’re just in early access for crowdfunding backers, but I don’t think they’ll be different to eachother based on other releases. I may be wrong though, we’ll see.

perhaps i could get some nendoroids when i go to japan later this year… all i have is a racing miku 2025 and popup parade vampire miku and the urge can never be satisfied

Miku nendoroids are really overpriced for some reason like the fuwamoco and sunna nendoroids cost less than her (only by one dollar for sunna but still her design is way more complex than monimiku)

Nendoroids are a type of anime figure made by good smile company, which are chibi, poseable, and have different swappable parts. They’re basically the cooler, japanese version of funko pops.
Miku has had over 100 nendoroids released, I believe around 125 that have been sold, so they’re popular in the vocal synth fandom, though no other vocal synth comes even close to the same amount as Miku, she’s the only one with more than 10. Actually I don’t think any other character has more than 10, vocal synth or not. Miku is basically Miss nendoroid.
