Limits on SWC topics in the forums
(ANY mention of SWC here does NOT refer to the Scratch Welcoming Committee. It refers to Scratch Writing Camp.)
SWC Topics are topics usually in the Collaboration Forum about hosting SWC sessions or something (idk i am not in the swc) however some topics are not really meant for the forums. What i want to do is make it so theres limits on what SWC topics can be posted and what cant be posted.
If a SWC topic includes any sort of mention of an anti-stalking notice such as “If you have not been invited to the SWC session this month, please click off and refrain from posting.” make it so the topic cannot be posted until the notice is removed.
If a topic includes any sort of mention of a “penpal thread”, close it immediately and give them a pop-up explaining why posting these topics in the forums are bad and cause unnecessary clutter.
Also there will have to be moderators in the Collaboration forum 24/7 so nobody bypasses these rules. If they do, give them a ST message explaining what they done was wrong.

(#1)But why are topics like this not allowed? There's nothing wrong with and I think making a topic on the forum would be much more convenient than using chatroom or studios.

(#3)Its not really “collaboration” if you're just sending penpal letters on the forums, not really “things you're making and creating” either(#1)But why are topics like this not allowed? There's nothing wrong with and I think making a topic on the forum would be much more convenient than using chatroom or studios.

(#1)And why are SWC topics not a good thing for you? I don't see anything wrong with them. They're topics for people who love writing?

(#7)They are good, it is just that some topics dont really fit on the forums(#1)And why are SWC topics not a good thing for you? I don't see anything wrong with them. They're topics for people who love writing?

I think doing this would make some people mad and leave Scratch. I think there should be a way to make sure that all the topics you said have a place to do their things

Those people most likely came here just to chat and talk, and then they joined the SWC.

However, from how I read it, that means “create things using code” rather than just “create things.”
People are taking it too far. If they want to write a story, they should do it in a project. Doing it on the forums clutters them. AND they probably take up a lot of server storage space.
