you go to cube upload I think it’s called and you use it to get a link that references the image—once you have that, you press discussion home on forums and scroll to the bottom where you can add your forum signature and then put the link into the img bracket thing lmk if all that makes sense lol

maybe we could do dystopian next? since cabin wars are coming up, if someone from dystopian attacks us it can be like ‘what’s that? dystopian actually want to control us??' if you get what i mean xD - i feel like this is one of our more developed ideas so far and isn't too similar to the xeno-fi island, which is just writing prompts

and if we don't have enough time we could maybe take off lyric as they're our neutrals and the storyline idea for lyric isn't so strong?

also just wanted to let you know that i'm back with proper access to scratch and stuff now so my activity levels will be going up a lot more for the rest of july!

this wonderful session, bi-fi campers set on an epic adventure across the swcea in search of a legendary swc treasure… campers made allies and enemies, befriending the animals of the forest, warring the villagers of pelican town, pleading their case to the ace attorneys and more; all whilst becoming the strongest crew in all of the seas and learning what is means to be a true pirate.

guys i just realised that we should be taking screenshots and documenting things for the mbc at the end! i'll make a canva slide thingy for it

i was thinking as well as lyric we scrap dystopian bcs there storyline is too complicated. i also suggest we make the gothic one very short and do it next, like a simple easy refresher to help us speed up the process, then straight after do fantasy then mystery then realfi

we shud also just try and complete as much of the storyline stuff as possible so we can get started on the mb

have you clicked on the little box in the top next to the “fx symbol” (right under the paintbrush and printer icons)? if you copy and paste directly from there it gives you the code only. if you copy paste without clicking in there, just control c control v it should work but lmk if it still doesn't

yeah i've heard of it too, i think it's when you just feel really shaky walking on land after going on a boat because you got used to absorbing the rocking of the waves or whatever

Hey guys! So I got some feedback from fini and they suggested linking swc activities to the tasks to kill two birds with one stone. Personally I think the at would defeat the point of storyline tasks? And there would be like no point of the island thingy but what do you guys think?

I agree that the storyline activities probably shouldn’t just be completing the daily or another activity, but making them more open ended would probably be better!
I like the pit stop idea! also for future activities it might be better to lower camper requirements (ex. instead of 5 needed, only 2 or 3) but the pit stop would mean that as many campers can complete it in that time period so it isn’t as much of a checkpoint?

so our plan for fantasy was to do dares right?
so we could have it a few different ways.
we coould say each person (and like 3 ppl) complete 2 of “these dares” (have like a few mixed dares, writing, swc activities and others) in order to complete the challenge
we could have in total the whole cabin has to complete a minimum of like 6 dares? then maybe an enthusiastic camper could do more haha

some dares:
Wage a war!!! => complete a word war
sailing in the iron inkwell => write a minimum of 100 words in the roleplay of a pirate!
(to make it more collaborative we could say:
roleplay with another camper about bring pirates! each of you write a minimum of 60 words)
ask for a writing dare in the main cabin and write a minimum of 100 words with that prompt!

stray from the ship: write at least 300 words about a very unlikely series of events that you wish would happen
launch cannons: write 200 words of a story, making sure to include the word ‘BANG’ every few sentences
chart islands on the map: in inside out, people gain islands in their head whenever they have something that means a lot to them. describe some islands you may have in at least 150 words

i don’t mind writing the desc! would the dares be in the desc or as a slide in the project?

for the dares, maybe we should reduce the writing amount a little to make it rlly quick as we do need to advance to the next island ASAP
