I'm sorry, where?
Maybe I am not advanced enough but please clarify.
Do you mean 100% pen projects?

Ignore that I am supposed to have quit the forums, anyway.it's a relatively rare thing on scratch. You dont use it.. often.Advanced programmers use it all the time.

In programming, it is exceedingly rare to need to compute the circumference / area / volume of a circle / sphere, you just don’t need to know that, the formula for a sphere is (x -a)^2 + (y -b)^2 + (z -c)^2 = r^2 and to find if a point is in it, it is as simple as just putting the point’s coordinates in that equation and seeing if it is less than or greater than r^2, with lines intersecting it, you put the equation of a line Tv1, Tv2, Tv3 in the equation and it just comes down to solving a quadratic equation.
π is mainly used because of radians, having 2π radians in a circle makes calculus and other branches of mathematics much more simple (ie, the derivative of sin x is cos x, rather than π/180 cos x).
However these branches of mathematics that I speak of are usually dealt with by the computer (ie calculating sine and cosine), you mostly just convert between radians and degrees, which is as easy multiplying / dividing by π/180, since there are π radians in 180 degrees, the calculation doesn’t even have anything to do with circles, it’s just ratios.

Oops, I didn’t mean to send this
Edit: I might as well put something here:
The surgeon’s approximation: 2 < π < 4
The builder’s approximation: π = 3.2
The programmer’s approximation: π = 3.1415926536
The mathematician’s approximation: π = π (and hope it just cancels out)

That is not what I am saying.
The pi day is not really good for anything, unlike the emojis which are for communications and the pfps which are for having a recognizeable profile and customisation.
Also the TIMAC and TIRAP forums are for exchanging yourself.
The pi day as said before doesn'T really allow creativity or teach much anything and it could be replaced with the day of mathematics which actually allows creativity, that is why I suggest moving on from it.
