This could be an Apple Maps API to use for stuff like weather radar simulators and more but this needs to be discussed

In theory they could add an openstreetmap extension since OSM is free. The problems I could think of are that a project could maybe get a user's location, like if it asked then stored it in a cloud variable. Also, it would be challenging (but definitely not impossible!) to create blocks that are easy to use while still letting users do interesting stuff. Overall this could lead to a lot of interesting projects!

I don't think block to get an user location could exist, but country detection could work ig

No it would be to display places without user location but user location could be added in the future

if they aded weather radar capabilities they would need a location

There was a Map Scratch extension. It got taken down, Most old archived problems are broken because the map extension was removed. They were testing it in project id overridden 2-103
