On Scratch there’s something called Super Mario Scralaxy. It started as a really simple platformer, but people kept remixing it and adding more content, and over time it turned into a huge, polished game with loads of levels.

I want to try something similar, but with a Factorio-style project on Scratch. I’m not amazing at Scratch yet, so I’ll start with a basic version. If someone more experienced wants to take it further, feel free to remix it and build on it.

So what’s Factorio? It’s a game where you build and automate a giant factory on an alien planet. You start by doing everything manually, but eventually you set up machines and conveyor belts to do it all for you, scaling up into a massive production system while also defending against enemies. What makes it so fun is that production scales with complexity.
