To prevent bad things from being seen if it’s not good for scratch and they see it they don’t wanna just wait until people have already seen it they wanna take it out

That's impossible. The only way is if you shared it and unshared it.

yeah that's… odd. st can technically see your unshared projects but they HARDLY ever look at them. they generally won't unless they have a reason to, and i really don't think they'd give you an alert for anything unshared unless it's literally illegal or something, in which case i think you would be getting much more than just an alert- so this is very odd, maybe like the person above me said you shared it then unshared it by accident or something? still doesn't make much sense to me though…

User should get an alert instead of entire takedown. This would give you a chance to fix your hard work instead of just deleting your hard work.

And to prevent your unshared projects from being shared, save backups to your computer (in the file dropdown menu). Because if the backup is sitting in Scratch My Stuff section, Scratch Team, or Scratch’s moderation might take that backup down too. And also, I recommend editing your Scratch projects outside of Scratch, and when ready, import it to Scratch & share the project. I personally use TurboWarp to edit my Scratch projects.

If the project was a remix, then the ST might have taken down the original and all of its remixes in one action. This is known to cause unshared remixes to be given the takedown notice.

Takedowns don't delete anything. Also usually if you have a project you're going to share it 9 times out of 10

Was this project a remix? Usually unshared projects only give alerts if its a remix and the OG project got taken down as well as the remixes

I agree that one of these two situations is most likely the culprit. We'll have to wait and see if OP could confirm whether they ever shared the project, or if the project was a remix of another one.
