Scratch Offline Editor downloads might become inaccessible due to the NGP

Here are the downloads on the Internet Archive in case the offline editor downloads become unavailable due to the next generation platform getting rid of the downloads page in favor of the Scratch Foundation website's “Tools” page.
Link: https://archive.org/details/legacy-scratch-downloads

The affected editors are Scratch 1.4 & 2.0, although their download links might still remain online after the NGP's launch date, but the chance of this happening is unknown.

Also note that the Internet Archive is a website that is not affiliated (or is run) by the Scratch Foundation/Scratch Team. Please be careful and only download the editors by first clicking “SHOW ALL” under Download Options, next click the LegacyScratchDownload directory, then click the directory for the version you need. The Downloads Options should be located on the right of the page under the view counter.

I am posting this because I am concerned about the older versions of Scratch being lost to the Internet. Please post below if you have any questions or comments.

Source? I didn't think they'd do a page purge with the NGP.

I thought that's what they were doing to Scratch. (No source, I wrote this by myself without any sources)

I downloaded ~7.6 GiB of files from download.scratch.mit.edu a little while ago, I might upload these if they indeed get rid of that site.

Edit: Actually it was 7.6 GiB from the 1.4-2.0 era server and 7.5 from the 3.0 one, not 16 GiB for the old one. The post above has been corrected.

I might have to create a different archive for that, despite the currently available downloads being the latest ones. I will work on that soon.

The new download page at https://scratchfoundation.org/tools only has the 3.0 offline editor

I am fixing the issue that no downloads are available. This is because I have deleted the current zip version and trying to upload an updated archive. The upload keeps getting a “Bad Data” error when I try to share the new files at archive.org. I am thinking about workarounds for this error, and working hard to resolve this. Thank you for your patience as I fight this problem.

UPDATE 1: I have gotten the editors to upload without any errors. To download the editors, click “SHOW ALL” under Download Options, click the LegacyScratchDownloads directory, then click the directory for the version you need.

Does the Scratch Foundation site have anything to do with the actual site though?

Ok, true. And it'd be a bit funny to just keep scratch.mit.edu/download around as an orphaned page
