Question Mark Bug won't leave my unshared project I haven't touched in weeks.

Why did I keep getting ? mark bugs on my projects?

yeah its been doing that to a few projects on my alt, but it fixed itself though (but it changed the sprites that had the question marks so its still there ;-

Weeks ago, i saved my project, it was still all normal, but then when i came back week later, OH GREAT THE QUESTION MARKS INFECTING.. when i refresh, THE QUESTION MARKS IN THE SAME SPOT!

This keeps happening to me. Every time I load my project I see more of them! I keep replacing them from backups, but they keep returning no matter what! I haven't even got offline backups of all my projects…. They don't even go by reloading without saving this time either.

At this point the question mark bug is unbearable; You can't fix them by reloading, making a backup, and even going in Turbo mode warp!!!! (remove “mode”)

And once you join in your project with question marks, it's irreversible…

Sometimes my ? marks change fonts, and I can editthem in costumes. Only some of the costumes showasthat though? Has anybody's disappeared yet? Or doI literally just have to redo the98 costumes it's affected? (I counted LOL) It's so annoying!

FINALLY! SOMEONE ELSE IS HAVING THE SAME ISSUE TOO! I THOUGHT IT WAS MY COMPUTER AT FIRST! I BOUGHT A WHOLE NEW COMPUTER THINKING **THAT** WAS THE PROBLEM

YEAH!!! Scratch Team fixed my project! All costumes and sounds got restored!

Does anyone have a solution? I searched it up and got this.

Question marks in Scratch appear when the editor fails to load or download a sprite's costume. This usually happens due to poor internet, corrupt files, or temporary server issues.

Do not save your project yet. Instead, follow these steps to fix the issue:

Hard Refresh: Refresh the Scratch page immediately. If it's a temporary loading glitch, your costumes will pop back up.

Reopen the Project: If reloading doesn’t work, close the tab, wait a few minutes, and open the project again.

Check Your Internet: Ensure you have a stable connection so the Scratch servers can load your assets.

Restore from Backpack: If the original file was corrupted, check if you have a backup of the sprite in your Scratch Backpack.

If one of these works, someone might want to know.
