Yea I'm just saying that bc then you can install other stuff with Supermium and go on some other websites
Yes; that's what I meant by ‘if I have to’; perhaps ‘when I have to’ would've been better wording
Well yea I know, I'm saying that you can install apps including Chrome 60 from Supermium LOL

By the way, the developers of r3dfox and firefox-for-windows-7 have been thinking about getting the browser on pre-Vista SP2

The most experience I've had recently with Windows 7 was an ATM.

Been too busy running non-Windows OSes.

For the laggy thing, you might have to change your VM configuration. Also, what are your host's specs and what is your host OS?

I had a Windows 7 VM that was installing a custom service pack (containing all updates to Windows in one), then it suddenly shut down.
I booted it back up, and it was stuck fixing itself - I tried everything, including the disc with Restore burned to it, but nothing worked.
I deleted it after about a year and a half of being stuck T_T

Can you try the new ISO (it has all updates until January 2026)
I mean built in, not installing after getting the OS

I still have a old laptop that has Windows 7.
I'm not connecting it to the internet in fear of vulnerabilities,
It contains games like Age of Empires and OpenTTD.

Connecting Windows 7 to the Internet is perfectly safe*

*I do it quite a lot and never got hacked

basically it is the same if you connect to the internet without a firewall
