What programming language should I try learning?

I'm kind of getting bored so I wanted to learn a programming language, preferably an easier one. Which one should I try?

Definitely go for Python. It was my first language and I had alot of fun learning it. Doesn't contain a ton of curly brackets or semicolons either.

Python is reccomended for begginners

HTML is extremlely easy but mainly useful for adding structure to websites

Also reccomend using stuff like Sololearn and w3schools to learn stuff

Python or Ruby. Do note that Ruby is unfortunately a dying language, but still by far one of my favorites and is very easily to pick up on.

to everyone who keeps saying html… html is a markup language, NOT a programming language

What is your goal? For 3D i recommend using Godot and DON'T use Unity. Unity is harder, also absoloutely avoid unreal unless you want boilerplate and want games with some crazy graphics.

Python is good if you want websites you can pair it with HTML, CSS, and JS but if you want game development then Godot or if you want to create games and you can do more like create your own 3D Engine with Java like some games did but it entirely depends on your goals.

I'd recommend starting with Python or Kotlin. Not only are they easy to learn, they have various applications in the real world as well. If you end up in the frontend world, JavaScript and TypeScript become important. If you end up going to backend then Java, C#, Kotlin, and C++ are particularly useful options.

In terms of bakend web development, Node.JS and PHP tend to be what is commonly used

But if nobody uses it, then it’s already dead?

JavaScript. I know python would be better BUT JavaScript runs in the browser and I think you need to know that first.
