Visual Mode for the Forums

I didn’t find any other suggestion like this, so…
BBCode can be hard for some people to learn to use. My suggestion is to have a Visual Editor for the forums (like with the Scratch Wiki.) For this, you would be able to toggle between BBCode and Visual modes.
The visual mode would show exactly what you are trying to do instead of inserting BBCode. So, for example, you would be able to highlight text and make it bold without seeing the BBCode using this Visual mode.
There’s not much more for me to say; this is pretty self-explanatory.

Pictures of Scratch Wiki so you can see what I mean by a Visual Editor:
Normal Editor (similar to using BBCode here):

Visual Editor (similar to my suggestion):

Can you put a mockup (or picture of the visual editor on the wiki? I don't have a wiki account)?

Can't you click the Green Checkmark next to the <> code button to show the visual of your post? Or do you mean like a live system (I can't see the images, you host is blocked on my school ipad, I guess)

I don’t know if some people know that the check mark exists. But basically, my suggestion is that you can’t see the BBCode, but you see the formatting directly instead.
