Do Scratch projects still use CC-BY-SA 2.0?
I've changed this question since it was first posted. The first few posts on this topic are unrelated to what I changed the question to.
Does Scratch still use CC-BY-SA 2.0? As of my knowledge, there are no current official documents stating that this is the case, though there certainly used to be.
Original post:

Original post:
Scratch uses (or at least used to use) a CC-BY-SA license. A certain website uses a CC-BY-NC-SA license. If I converted someone else's Scratch project to a project on that website one and shared it there, making noticeable changes and giving credit, would that be legally okay or can I only share converted Scratch projects I made 100% myself?
(Originally edited by a moderator to remove the name of the site. I edited it to make the question make sense when it was read. The reasoning they gave for removing the name was that it contained an “unmoderated chat”, which, as of my knowledge, it does not. The site's terms of service states: “Our goal is to foster a friendly, welcoming, safe community of users. These Terms of Service have that goal in mind.” I'll do some research to see if it actually has one or not. I am aware that said website has a poorly moderated discussion forum. Perhaps that was what “unmoderated chat” was referring to? Either way, the name of the site is not critical to the discussion. In case you're wondering, it's not P——mod, which I'm aware has poor moderation.)

ALSO please do not name other sites that might not have the same moderation as scratchThey have solid moderation outside of their forums, which aren't what I'm talking about. I also didn't link to their site.
Edit: As a Scratch Team member removed the name of the site from my original post, and that the site's name isn't critical to discussion, I removed it entirely from this topic.

I think it's probably OK to license it with CC-BY-SA on the other website, as that probably also allows the things that CC-BY-NC-SA does
Edit after seeing the reply: it doesn't allow everything because similarly to the original problem, it doesn't allow the other users of the website to ban commercial use

I think it's probably OK to license it with CC-BY-SA on the other website, as that probably also allows the things that CC-BY-NC-SA does. The other website I was referring to requires projects shared on the platform to be licensed under CC-BY-NC-SA- they explicitly state in their terms of service that they do not allow users to use any other license on their projects.
Anyway, I changed the original question because it's pretty clear that derivative works of stuff licensed under CC-BY-SA cannot be relicensed under CC-BY-SA-NC.

No, and the new licence only lets you redistribute within the site

If you're talking about what I think you're talking about, that place allows 13+ projects (with tagging, although the 13+ projects can still be viewed without an account and therefore without age restrictions), and recently has had several projects about drama with other users hit the front page recently. Both of this is literally untrue. Why are you spreading lies?It has less strict moderation, and even the developers of it don't want it mentioned on ScratchYep and also pls dont name that platformwhy, there is nothing wrong with it
Alternate Scratch platforms that allow 13+ projects are generally not allowed to be mentioned on the site, so it was probably blocked for that.

The site mentioned was not that site, it was a different site, as clarified by the OP's post.I am not. That site literally has Sprunki on the front page, and this disclaimer on the front page:Both of this is literally untrue. Anyways, to stay on topic, I'm pretty sure that Scratch projects are under a different liscence now, with the details of that new liscense in the ToS.

@gem1001 probably thought that the original version talked about the website which has that “please don't mention us on Scratch” text on its home page, based on how the ST censored the website's name. Both of this is literally untrue. Why are you spreading lies?It has less strict moderation, and even the developers of it don't want it mentioned on ScratchYep and also pls dont name that platformwhy, there is nothing wrong with it
I've seen the original and it was talking about a different site whose shortened name is very similar to the shortened name of a social media platform, and I think @SushiCat_75 and the ST confused it with that

About the current license of Scratch projects, the ToS says
By Posting User Content to or via the Service, to the maximum extent of your rights to do so, including under applicable law, you hereby grant: […] (b) us a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license (with the right to grant and authorize sublicenses) to publicly display, publicly perform (including by means of a digital audio transmission), reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, and otherwise use and exploit the User Content to provide the Service, for internal business purposes, to advertise, market, and promote the service, and to otherwise improve our products and services and create new products and services, including through the training of AI models. […]
[…] By providing User Content via the Service, you affirm, represent, and warrant to us that: […] b. your User Content, and the Posting or other use of your User Content as contemplated by these Terms, does not and will not: […] (iv) […] require us to […] provide any attribution to any third parties; […]It doesn't look like CC-BY-SA. I don't think Scratch can change the license of old projects where the creator didn't accept the new ToS, so it's possible that technically we mustn't remix old projects

About the current license of Scratch projects, the ToS saysI doubt they can even if you do accept the new Terms, since CC BY-SA is also irrevocableBy Posting User Content to or via the Service, to the maximum extent of your rights to do so, including under applicable law, you hereby grant: […] (b) us a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license (with the right to grant and authorize sublicenses) to publicly display, publicly perform (including by means of a digital audio transmission), reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, and otherwise use and exploit the User Content to provide the Service, for internal business purposes, to advertise, market, and promote the service, and to otherwise improve our products and services and create new products and services, including through the training of AI models. […]It doesn't look like CC-BY-SA. I don't think Scratch can change the license of old projects where the creator didn't accept the new ToS, so it's possible that technically we mustn't remix old projects
Also, it says ‘By Posting’, which would imply that it only applies to new projects
