The gaehive's studio activity seems to claim that a random user has altered the title, thumbnail or description. Obviously, this can only be done by the studio host or a member of the Scratch Team, however this user does not fit any of these criteria.

When I added a description to my new studio and enabled adding projects, the activity logs say it was another user

Edit: it's maybe related that I didn't wait until the toggle turned on completely, but reloaded the page because it seemed like it got stuck

Yeah, this happened to me on my studio, it said that a user i don't even know has seemingly edited the description. It seems like it's just a bug :\

it happened to me a few times already… @scratchteam, what happened? please fix it!!! I dont like having random people changing my scratch studio!

yeah it's just an odd glitch, one time it even said someone who's obviously been inactive for like a decade had edited my own personal watchlist studio that only i can add things to lol

anyway, to be clear, nobody else is actually editing your studios, so don't worry it's just writing the wrong names for things that were done by the correct person

don't worry, nobody's changing stuff besides you. scratch is just claiming your edits were done by random people because it's kinda buggy.

yea it happened to me but its not true

This happened to me FOUR TIMES BEFORE!!!!

A teacher account, a new scratcher that didn't know what I was talking about, a normal scratcher, and a banned account.

Yeah, I’ve also been encountering a similar problem with my Fake Nintendo Switch Games studio https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/51566074/activity with Scratchers like @grraaciie, @CodeBayE3169, @I-raiga, @Ysgir8, and @DuckyBird_123 saying “editing studio” in the activity log, though no one curates or manages my studio and the feature was removed years ago. Is there suddenly a feature where Scratchers are allowed to hack freely?

No it's a bug when editing studios where someone else will show

I can replicate.
It's happened to one of my studios as well (usually happens right after I edit the description)
Apart from that, it's pretty random when it comes to the user who is listed as modifying the description
