If you are banned on scratch, there is an ability to appeal a ban that is a 1-time thing for a scratcher. You can only appeal a ban once a year and also lets you appeal when you get banned for the very first time. it cuts half of the ban time or unbans you if it's kind enough and promises to never do it again. If you break this promise, you get banned again double the time of the original ban time, and cannot appeal. If this is done 10 times then it deletes all your scratch projects, deletes your account, and eventually you won't exist on scratch and cannot make another account because your ip will be banned permanently.

Is ban appeal abuse really a problem though? The Scratch Team already rejects insincere ban appeal and punishes you harder if you get banned after getting a previous ban appealed.

Also afaik you cannot appeal temporary bans (the ones that are set to automatically expire); you can only appeal permanent bans (the ones that don't expire automatically).

I think the current system of just ignoring/rejecting users who spam ban appeals works well enough, this just seems way too harsh and I think if users are sending rude appeal messages it should be handled on an individual basis rather than automatically deleting your entire presence on Scratch.
