This textbook uses the Scratch 3.0 website as an illustration, so if the site gets updated, it can bring many issues for schools that use Scratch for teaching students. And these are issued by the Vietnamese government and require a series of ministerial approvals before any changes can be made
In my country, Vietnam, the Ministry of Education uses a standardized series of textbooks, with Scratch being taught starting from Grade 4. If Scratch undergoes major changes, it creates a logistical nightmare. Re-publishing these books involves massive costs—from re-authoring the content to capturing new UI screenshots. Because this curriculum is mirrored in many other regions, the cost and effort of updating everything are simply prohibitive.
I highly doubt the Vietnamese government will not update this. It is a high probability that Vietnam will update the book to correspond with the new website. Plus, they aren't doing anything to the editor. Vietnam is very passionate about technology and coding.

KING OF THE PAGE AGAIN!!!

Here's an example:

And then it has lessons about the editor:

Even if it takes a long time to update these textbooks, the editor will not be changed, so there won't be a problem, at least until 4.0.

looks pretty nice and smooth, could you do it to profiles and forums to see if they're still 2.0-styled?
There doesn't seem to be any code for either, but there is code for the account dropdown:

(My name is not Anthony Musk; that's just a placeholder name I came up with. It's a pun on the word ‘anonymous’)
Seems like Scratch is really investing into school accounts

What makes you say that, the “My Classes” button?

Why wouldn’t they confirm some things? Is it better, for some reason, to leave it ambiguous?

What was Scratch For Schools even for if teacher accounts exist on the main website? And it was so short lived.

Interesting. As many Scratchers have already pointed out, this may interfere with Schools automatically unblocking Scratch (because it has the .edu domain). My School has Scratch.org unblocked so I think it's fine for me, but I can't say for sure for everyone

Yes! Scratch might be unblocked for one day at my school until IT realizes what happened!

Not blocked for me, I sure hope Scratch Foundation will give a public announcement (because I doubt anyone even knows about it besides us) that they will be switching over to that domain so that way the districts who have scratch.mit.edu unblocked but scratch.org blocked to unblock it. (if you know what I mean)

It is likely that they’re not done yet for some reason or another, or they just are not looking for community feedback. In the past when they’ve announced things before they come (like the color change to purple), all it did was create controversy and complaints. Nowadays people have adjusted to it (although i personally still prefer the blue!!) and retrospectively, there was not much need for the level of outcry that there was at the time. I do feel like they have learned their lesson from this, and by waiting to reveal things, there is less time for people to complain before actually going hands on with the NGP.

Quite surprising. I was definitely not expecting this
