Scratch 4.0 and the NGP

i have some questions about 4.0 and ngp

this brings back bad memories in 2019 when scratch 3.0 came out and 50% of the commmunity left or eventually left, because of how bad scratch 3.0 was.

will it have ai or age verification? and also, will older browsers be completely locked out, forcing people to use the latest browsers only (this happened on scratch 3.0)

also, will the scratch 1.4 and 2.0 offline editor publishing feature still work?

also, when scratch 4.0 comes out, thanos cat will wipe out 50% of scratch, or even more or less…

people have been worried of scratch 4.0 ever since 3.0 came out, some one said “What about Scratch 4.0. Chet is worried”

NGP is just a website update and will not add new AI features, but 4.0 will. AI age verification will not be added.
NGP will also be built with React, so whilst it may or may not make the requirements tighter, older browsers will likely still not be supported
