So I am making a Pizza Tower fangame called “Scratch Tower” that uses griffpatch's platformer tutorial(i did not add wall jumping and slope idle animations btw) to make this project and the player movement is fine but the problem i mostly had with the player are the list of things you saw above before reading this and they are broken so how on earth do i add and fix these mechanics and bugs

For those of us who haven't played Pizza Tower, what do the moves do?

ok here's the list: Mach run: Makes you run really fast but you will have to build up speed, can break blocks like Metal Blocks and Marble Blocks, can kill enemies when at Mach 3 and above.
Super jump: if the up arrow is pressed when mach running at mach 3 or 4, you can perform a super jump, but you can move when still holding the up arrow, but if the up arrow is stopped being pressed,then the player will be propelled in the air and can move mid-air, while in the air, you can break and kill stuff above you. Grab Dash: will propel the player at the speed of the walk-speed but slightly fast, if the c key is pressed while mach running will build up speed almost instantly, if the c key is pressed while super jumping, it will perform a super jump cancel and will repeat untill touching the floor, wall or ceiling and will start mach running at the direction it was dashing at.

It looks like you explained how to code it. Just use a variable for stuff to keep track of like the time you spent building up speed (you technically don't need a variable to track your Mach speed since you can just use the running time), and some variables that kinda act like booleans like tracking if you just super jump or something like that. If you struggle with breaking blocks, have a variable that tracks if you have the correct conditions to break certain blocks (which you can also do something like setting it to 2 if you can break metal) then when a block touches Pepinno (I forgot how to spell his name lol) that block checks the variable to render if it should break or not. well I took some of griffpatch's code from his platformer tutorial and added more to it and now i'm planning to soon release Demo 2
