The possibility of certain websites hosting inappropriate images and the prevention of image spam are the main reasons why only certain image hosts are allowed. I'm not sure what you mean by “you know they are going to ask a owner of a website they would ban inappropriate images so why are you saying”.

Also, limiting image hosts to only a few websites makes moderation easier. It also means that you can rest assured those whitelisted websites are safe.

photobucket.com - MONEY WASTE -$$ -$$, I Am 8. (Scratch Is For 8+)
imageshack.us (or instead of .us use .com) - Failed To Connect
The Other Ones Don't Work

It may be inconvenient for some people (such as you), but ultimately limiting the number of allowed hosts is the safer option.

Are you sure you're using cubeupload correctly? It should not take “forever validating”.
