Cannot connect hat block above stack block
My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Firefox 149.0, No Flash versions detected
After this new update, I can no longer drag and connect a hat block above an existing stack block.
The issue appears to be only when dragging the hat block out of the block palette.

Cannot recreate this. If I had to guess, it's probably some Firefox thing. Firefox already runs projects slower, so Scratch and Firefox already don't get along well.
Edit: I misread the original post. I have managed to recreate this since.

Cannot connect hat block above stack block
The issue appears to be only when dragging the hat block out of the block palette.Just tried this out - It doesn't work if you drag it onto the top, but it works if you drag it onto the bottom?????
Edit: I think what's going on is that, when you drag the hat block out of the palette, Scratch is deciding that the place you should hover to put it on should be the stack/cap block spot until you place it down properly. Then, it remembers that the hat blocks should go at the hat block spot.

Also, I feel like the Firefox thing doesn't rlly have to do with this, and that's also getting fixed (even though it never happened to me)

I'm at my high school and they really only have Chromebooks here. I did manage to recreate it, though. I glanced over the part where you have to drag it out of the palette. My browser / operating system: ChromeOS 14541.0.0, Chrome 138.0.0.0, No Flash version detectedDo you have any other operating systems other than ChromeOS?

For me it works but if I drag the hat block directly from the palette, then I need to drag it below the top block instead of above it
