When I came back to my project after editing it earlier today, Scratch broke my project. It didn't save properly.
Random Operators are no longer accepting inputs, and blocks keep disappearing and reappearing.
I really wish that this update was tested more before it was released - I am not the only one experiencing this.

Link to my project that broke. Everything was working 100% fine before I ate lunch, and when I got back into my game, it broke.

Do you have any more info on this? I can't replicate it.

If you take some of the inputs out of operators in the Player Collision script, there will be cursed inputs underneath where you cannot input numbers.

I'm not using school computers to use my account I used a normal computer to make a scratch account

and one more thing the delete button doesn't work on the audio section anymore

The delete button in the sound section isn't working for me anymore

Can replicate. It happened to me after using the new “set thumbnail” block.

I hit the set thumbnail block too, but I didn't save the changes. I only did it to hide the pesky notification telling me that it moved.
Why would it change the input type on random blocks? You'd think that the thumbnail would be separate from inputs.

This was supposed to be fixed, but it appears it isn't completely

It seems to only remove the inputs of blocks that were duplicated.
Also, (backdrop #) of (backdrop) blocks default to that when duplicated from something like (Tile Size) of (Tiles).

I've had this too, with custom blocks in general. They randomly have dark inputs where you cannot actually input numbers, and variables don't seem to work with these dark inputs either. I can't replicate it; I have no idea what is causing it. When such a block is activated, it seems like the entire script with said block does not function. Strangely, this reaction also appears with a string of code that does not contain any of these broken custom blocks. Random blocks also disappear for seemingly no reason.

Same for me!!! I thought I did something wrong and I searched the whole thing and SCRATCH BROKE MY PROJECT COMPLETELY. Are there any workarounds?

Legend might call your glitched blocks “dark code”.

Seems like putting one of these things

(() * (() * ()))

inside an input, duplicating the block, and reloading the page will replicate this.

Don't edit your projects until this is fixed.

You will most likely have to manually replace the glitched blocks once the bug is fixed.
