(MY STORYLINE IN TOPIC) Garfield's Judgement Day: The Project That Blew Away

As the same creator of Sonic 4 Episode 3 By Scratch, I, Magudragon, am planning a game re-imagining of Garfield's Judgement Day, the canceled 1990's film, which has it's finished content locked away at Disney.
(Please note this concept hasn't became a playable project yet, the subname of this topic saying “The Project That Blew Away” is just a slogan inspired by “Loony Tunes: The Day The Earth Blew Up”)

I would greatly appreciate help from you all for developing the game's music, willing to make animated versions of a few cutscenes as bonus content, and especially helping me settle on a platforming engine that fits my wants for it.

Here is an overview about Garfield, and the official canceled movie: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/youtube/vSkQCGFRiwo/

My version of the story plans to tone it down for the Scratch audience, however, Paramount is very protective of their franchises. It is uncertain if they will want to takedown the game upon seeing it if it grows too popular, even if I do a fair job at keeping the game from tarnishing the Garfield IP, and not stealing attention from official media.
The announcement project is here, it has some things on how you can help improve notice for the game: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/1305747368
__________________________________________________________________________
Story I made up:
(it's important to say as of the time I wrote this, I only know the basic plot points of the canceled movie, not the villains Disney made for it, besides the tornado)

Garfield leaves John's house (level 1), and when walking through the park(level 2), he gets a vision about a disastrous storm. He rushes to the kitty council to find that tens of other pets have done the same. Despite the large numbers of worry, the kitty council believes it is best for the cats to not tell their owners, looking back on their miserable kitten-hood. The kitty council then reveals to the cats that they have had the power of speech for millions of years, but their ancestors agreed to a pact to never speak again. Garfield feels this is the day to prove himself, so he starts to gather the rest of his friends as the storm grows.

First, he goes to Nermal, rescuing him from being stuck in a tree (level 3)

Second, he and Nermal find Arlene in the alley (level 4), who reveals to him she is a stray, Arlene then has a emotional flashback about the time she was just a kitten with her college aged owner, until getting lost (if this were a movie this would better carry the emotional weight seen with the “So Long Old Friend” song in Here Comes Garfield, but I plan for this game's cutscenes to be restricted to a slideshow format).

Now Garfield and his friends rush back to Jon's house, where Odie already is (level 5), who are worried sick about him. Garfield sees that Jon invited Liz over to his house since her apartment manager went out of business. With the storm getting more intense, Garfield can't take it anymore! He verbally screams out to Jon “WE HAVE TO GET OUT OF HERE!”. Jon faints, needing Liz to catch him. Liz, also in schock, questions how Garfield is talking. Garfield mysterious disappeared in a flash of lightning, and Jon's house then collapsed above the rest of them (they're still alive)

Garfield woke up in a mysterious court room, with the kitty council in god forms. They say to Garfield how “YOU broke the pact, now you get it!”. After a fierce parkour made by the kitty council (level 6), Garfield decided to stand up to them, saying “No one else should pay the price for your past!”. “It's taken years, but I can finally understand how there's more to life than the bad times, you have bare the tragedies and move past it!”
The kitty council now understood everything. They told Garfield someone needs to manually harness the power of cats speech in the eye of the storm to abolish it. They gave Garfield the power, and sent him back to earth, wishing him luck.

Jon, Liz, Nermal, and Odie, see Garfield teleport back to them in Jon's now ruined home. Garfield asked where Arlene was, and Liz pointed towards the sky, where Arlene was helplessly being knocked around. Garfield and Liz, who's a caring vet, rushes towards the storm, but Jon holds Garfield back, saying “Don't go!”, Garfield tells Jon “I have to do this, it's my destiny”. In understanding, Jon lets go of Garfield. Liz went to the balcony of a building near town square, as Garfield jumped into the storm (level 7). He reached for Arlene's hands, and after giving romantic glares to each other, Garfield threw Arlene to Liz. Garfield was ready to accept his destiny. Arlene shouts Garfield's name. Other citizens watch the climatic scene from their windows. as Garfield's eyes glowed white, a giant ball of light expanded from Garfield throughout the town.

_______________________
Resolution:

The citizens gathered at town square to witness where the storm damaged the most, Jon, Liz, and Arlene rushed towards piles of rubble, in tears crying for Garfield. Eventually, when feeling Garfield's motionless tail covered by rubble, Jon got onto the ground and had an emotional breakdown, until a bruised Garfield climbed out of the rubble pile and gestured him to stop sobbing. In joy, Arlene ran up to Garfield to join his hug with Jon and Odie. Jon questioned why Garfield couldn't talk anymore, but Garfield gave a confused gesture, also suggesting it didn't matter. After Arlene and Liz took a quick gaze at each other, everything made sense. Arlene recognized Liz as her kitten-hood owner, and so has Liz. Arlene rushed to Liz, giving her a giant hug
We last see Garfield being carried through the park held high in the air by Jon and the town's citizens, now recognized as the town's savior.

THE END.

Bump. I am trying to do meaningful things for canceled media, and Sonic 4 Episode 3 By Scratch clearley wasn't enough.

Please ask anything on here, I feel incredibly lost, and schoolwork feels like a drag, I need some spark of hope to know my effort would be meaningful.

Yes, the original movie called Garfield's Judgement Day was canceled around the early 90s. Previously, no fan efforts have been made to revive the concept, mine seems to be the only one. My issue is gaining anticipation from other Scratchers, which is already a hurdle I haven't fully accomplished for my Sonic fan games.

Well, since we are here and he is gone, I think there should be some changes. Like for example, proper cutscenes. That is something that I believe would up the project a lot. @The_Awsome_Sonic proved that full-on cutscenes can be made by using a complicated but not too much complicated process. I would do that for cutscenes over summer. Second: a revamped engine if Scratch Sonic Studio was going to be used, otherwise a completely original engine. Third: VOICE ACTING! I mean, that would extremely engage the community here. Fourth, a slightly improved story. This shouldn't be too much of an issue. Guys, this project is in our hands now, and I see potential (but am slightly confused at to what Garfield's moveset would even be; Mario is chubby though and does parkour so Garfield could do parkour) for this project.

I've decided to visit again, I don't know how long for, I will offer for direction as long for as I'm around.

I don't know what to bother doing on Scratch anymore. It was the only thing that makes me feel like I can acomplish things, yet I can't keep the motivation.
