Normally, it uses your Scratch profile picture. However, due to some server issues it's currently using the default pfp for everyone. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.

API stands for Application Programming Interface. It is a set of rules and protocols that allow different software applications to communicate and share data with one another. So basically the messenger system of Scratch is broken, and can't send signals to tell some applications what to do.

The wiki isn't giving me issues. Its just loads slow for me.
