She has a load of lore and I have rped with her every day since I got her, she has some really developed relationships with her family and friends, as well as her children, plus her ex-mate and her current mate! She passed in the Flurryclan saftey fail, I’ll miss her, but I know that I am ready to move on and start from the beginning again! Although I rarely grinded with her, she has a decent amount of exp, but I do plan to grind with Marlin!･･･

☾ TOPIC ONE ･･･ Talon Cusps ‧₊˚
✧.* Talon Cusps are extremely rare, talon shaped teeth that appear under pre-existing teeth, visible from below, and appear more in animals such as primates than in humans, they generally develop on specific teeth, most generally on upper teeth. The causes of Talon Cusps are unknown, but is most likely a mix of environmental and genetic factors, meaning if Marlin ever has any kits, they could possibly inherit this. They most commonly appear on the inside of a tooth, which is the side facing the tounge, and are generally on inscicors or canines, which is where I plan for Marlin to have hers. If the cusp is small, it will not affect the person/animal with the cusps too much, but if they are larger they can cause lip and tounge injuries, gum irritation, cavities, sometimes making it more challenging to eat or speak, and in animals can cause the tounge to protude from the mouth. If the cusp is small, they can grind down over time, but in larger cusps in humans, they can be treated via a root canal, but only if the cusps affect speech or eating or the cusps get infected.

Marlin's Talon Cusps will change over time, and I plan for them to start forming around apprenticehood, once her adult teeth will have fully grown, and start small, not affecting her drastically occasionally grinding down. At around 20 moons, they will start growing, making her speech a little harder, meaning she will sometimes stutter or slur, a slight stutter is something I have myself and will mean when she is confused or pauses she will repeat a certain letter when speaking, a s is one letter that she will find more difficult to pronounce. She will chew food more on her teeth without cusps first or mashing the food with claws or a log or stone before eating. Her gums will be sore frequently and she will find a medic on days where the irritation is particularly bad, for a pain killer. Her toungue will start protruding from her mouth as well, again making her more likely to slur or develop a lisp, as well as making it harder to eat more solid food.

Reasearch from websites such as Colgate, various orthodontist sites, as well as my own knowledge and experiences, with a slight stutter, I also have an overbite, which also can cause similar forms of irritation.

☾ Marlin stood on the rock. Her paws gripping the harsh edges of the rock, her claws strained as she held on, her heart was beating in her chest, a strange sensation. Nerves, a feeling she hadn't properly encountered yet. She made the mistake of looking down, she backed away from the edge, even more ‘nervous’ than before. ‘Pahh!’ She thought, nerves where for weak, wimpy cats, not /nobility/ like /her/. She took a breath, hoping her nervous state wasn't visable on the outside. She backed up more. If the spectators thought she was about to quit, they where /wrong/. She was not a quitter. She ran, her paws pounding the rought surface as she took the leap of faith, slightly closing her eyes as she dropped, she bent her paws like she was a natural and she had been doing this her whole life. She opened her eyes and took a small bow. Satisfied with her new-found jumping skills. • • •

Marlin will try be extremely close to her father, wanting the most attention from him then that he gives all her siblings. She will believe that her she is her father's favourite as they share names, no matter what his opinion is. She is extremely proud to be his daughter and look like him, aspiring to be like him one day.

Hoppyflicker: (will refer to as ma)
Marlin craves her mother's attention and pride, but understands she is a busy cat, and doesn't have a lot of time for her. She believes her mother will like her, but is secretly afraid her mother doesn't have time for her. Marlin thinks that Hoppy spends so much time with others and Marlinmutiny that she will have less love and time for her. Although she does still believe she's the favourite child of course! Obviously, Hoppy will spend time with Marlin, but Marly

Marlin will be a little jealous of Needle, due to the fact she also looks like Marlinear. She will still love her sister, of course, but maybe slightly less. (This will vary slightly depending on who wins)
