Does Canary Islands Count under Africa?

I'm a 5th generation Canarian-Venezuelan, my father was born in the Canary Islands, and all that. The real question is, are the Canary Islands included in the African forum? The categorization of the Canary Islands is kind of messy, as the Canary Islands are owned by Spain (an European country) but are geographically in Africa (off the coast of Morocco). So, am I allowed to post here if I'm from the Canary Islands?

Spain does own lots of places, and the Canary Islands are near Morocco, in Africa…

Closing due to spam comments + already given answer. I might not participate in the African forum though because even though I'm Canarian, I don't have that much African ancestry even then and it feels weird posting here.
