K-Pop Demon Hunters Comic Collab - Voice Actors and Artists Needed!
Hi guys, your local collab BOZO here again,
I'm working on a new collab based on, as u can probably guess, K-Pop Demon Hunters. What it'll be is an alternate Story within the world of K-Pop Demon Hunters, starting from a random point in the movie. I'm going to need Voice Actors and Artists. If anyone is interested, please respond to this thread!
How to apply:
Voice Actors - Create a small project reading some lines from the movie, and I'll make judgements from there.
Artists - Redraw a scene from the movie in cartoon form, and I'll make judgements from there.
Please make sure the link to your application project is within your response.
Voice Acting Roles:
Rumi - TAKEN (iSCRATCH456)
Zoey
Mira
International Idol Awards Host
Jinu
Abby
Romance
Main Character (Ji-Hu)
Narrator
I hope to see plenty of applications!
Please bear in mind that all songs within this are songs from the actual movie, so I will be using the songs from the movie for these bits. Voice Actors DO NOT need to sing.

Episode 1
SCENE 1 — Exterior, Late Evening. Empty street.
SFX: Soft footsteps, distant traffic hum.
JI‑HU (narration, tired):
It was a late evening, and I was walking home after a long day of work. Same route as always… the one where no one walks. The only place I can take off my hoodie and stop hiding my patterns.
SFX: Footsteps stop.
JI‑HU (narration):
But tonight wasn’t going to be like any other.
SCENE 2 — Alleyway between bathhouse and convenience store
SFX: Light breeze, faint neon buzz.
JI‑HU (narration):
I sigh and turn into the alley… and that’s when I see her.
SFX: Quick shuffle as Ji‑Hu hides.
JI‑HU (whisper):
Shoot—someone’s here.
SFX: Hoodie rustling as he pulls it on.
JI‑HU (narration):
When I look again, she’s bent over, gasping for breath.
JI‑HU (soft, cautious):
Hey… are you okay?
SCENE 3 — Close‑up on Rumi
RUMI (startled gasp):
Ah—!
SFX: Her arm shifts, sleeve torn.
JI‑HU (narration):
For a moment… I see them. Demon patterns. Just like mine.
RUMI (trying to steady her breathing):
Yeah… I’m okay. Just out of breath, that’s all.
JI‑HU (concerned):
Your arm’s bleeding. Can I look at that cut? Looks bad.
RUMI (hesitant, then soft):
…Okay.
SCENE 4 — Ji‑Hu bandages her arm
SFX: First‑aid kit opening, bandage wrapping.
JI‑HU (gentle):
That’s not too tight, is it?
RUMI:
No… thanks.
SFX: Brief silence.
RUMI (quiet, uneasy):
You saw my patterns, didn’t you?
JI‑HU (honest):
Yeah. I saw them.
SCENE 5 — Truth Revealed
RUMI (tense):
Why are you not scared?
JI‑HU:
Why should I be? You’re part demon. That doesn’t make you one of them.
RUMI (sharp):
How do you know they’re demon patterns?
JI‑HU (after a breath):
Because… I’m a part demon myself.
SFX: Hoodie sleeve sliding up.
RUMI (shocked):
You—you’re a part demon?
JI‑HU:
Dad was a demon. Mum was human.
SCENE 6 — Demon Lore
RUMI (careful):
Do… do you hear Gwi’Ma?
JI‑HU:
Yeah. His voice is in my head a lot, but he doesn’t control me.
RUMI:
Can you see the Honmoon?
JI‑HU:
No. But I know about it. I know the Saja Boys are demons. I know the Honmoon is turning gold. I know about the hunters.
I know a lot about demons.
RUMI (serious):
Are you against Gwi’Ma?
JI‑HU:
I’ve wanted to take him down since the first time I heard his voice.
SCENE 7 — Interrupted
SFX: Noise from the bathhouse.
RUMI (alert):
That’ll be Zoey and Mira. You’d better go.
JI‑HU:
Good idea.
SFX: Ji‑Hu hands her something.
JI‑HU:
Here—my number. I’ll text you soon with more info about the Honmoon and the demons’ plans.
SFX: Ji‑Hu running off.
JI‑HU (narration):
And just like that… everything changed.
Episode 2
SCENE 1 — Ji‑Hu’s Apartment, Night
SFX: Quiet room ambience. Clock ticking. Phone buzzing faintly.
JI‑HU (narration, conflicted):
I sit in my living room, weighing up my options. Help Rumi and Huntrix… or stay out of it and keep myself safe.
SFX: Phone buzz.
JI‑HU (surprised):
Huh?
SFX: Phone unlock sound.
JI‑HU (reading aloud softly):
“Test Message. Hope you made it home OK.”
JI‑HU (narration, softer):
She messaged me first. That… means something.
SFX: Typing.
JI‑HU (typing aloud):
“Made it home safe, hope you made it back all good.”
SFX: Message sent. A short pause. Another buzz.
JI‑HU (reading):
“Yeah, made it back OK. How do you think we could help each other?”
JI‑HU (narration):
How do we help each other? I didn’t even know where to start.
SCENE 2 — Ji‑Hu Thinking
SFX: Soft hum of the room. Chair creaking as he leans back.
JI‑HU (narration):
I sat there for an hour. Nothing. No plan. No ideas. Just… pressure.
JI‑HU (determined exhale):
Alright. Think, Ji‑Hu. Think.
SFX: Phone typing begins again.
JI‑HU (typing aloud):
“I can’t think of anything right now, but I’m also short on information. So I’m thinking of fooling the Saja Boys into thinking they could trust me, and I feed information back to you.”
JI‑HU (narration):
I double‑checked it. Triple‑checked it. Didn’t want it to sound like betrayal.
SFX: Message sent.
SFX: Ten seconds of silence… then a buzz.
JI‑HU (reading):
“It’s risky, but it could work. Make sure that you don’t endanger yourself.”
JI‑HU (soft chuckle):
She really cares.
SCENE 3 — The Problem
SFX: Phone typing.
JI‑HU (typing aloud):
“Hang on. How am I going to earn their trust?”
SFX: Message sent. Quick reply.
JI‑HU (reading):
“That’s actually a good point LOL. Maybe feed them some information about us that you know?”
JI‑HU (concerned):
How do I do that without putting them in danger?
SFX: Typing.
JI‑HU (typing aloud):
“How would I do that without endangering yourselves?”
SFX: Message sent. Another buzz.
JI‑HU (reading):
“Another good point haha. Maybe some low‑stake information, such as the fact I’m part demon. Jinu already knows, but that could cement you with their trust.”
JI‑HU (narration):
Low‑stake information. Right. That could work.
SFX: Ji‑Hu sends a thumbs‑up emoji.
SCENE 4 — Ending the Night
SFX: Ji‑Hu collapsing onto his bed.
JI‑HU (narration, fading):
I’d done enough thinking for one night.
Tomorrow… I’d start the plan.
SFX: Slow fade into silence.
Episode 3
SCENE 1 — Busy Street, Daytime
SFX: City ambience, chatter, footsteps.
JI‑HU (narration):
I’m walking down the street when I see them — the Saja Boys. Talking to a fan. Perfect chance… or a terrible idea.
JI‑HU (deep breath):
Alright. Showtime.
SFX: Ji‑Hu steps forward.
JI‑HU (friendly, pretending to be casual):
Ji‑Hu Kang. Big fan.
JINU (warm, polite):
Hello, Ji‑Hu. Nice to hear you’re a fan.
SFX: Ji‑Hu pulls Jinu slightly closer.
JI‑HU (low whisper):
I know you’re a demon. I want to work with you.
SFX: Sudden silence. The boys shift, murmuring among themselves.
ROMANCE (suspicious):
Come with us.
SCENE 2 — Abandoned Alleyway
SFX: Echoing footsteps, distant traffic fades.
ABBY (sharp):
Alright. Talk. How do you know we’re demons?
JI‑HU:
I saw your patterns during the Soda Pop performance.
ROMANCE:
And how do you know what demon patterns look like?
JI‑HU:
Because I’m part demon myself.
SFX: Hoodie sleeve slides up.
SAJA BOYS (collective gasp):
…
JI‑HU:
See? Same patterns.
SFX: Sleeve slides back down.
SCENE 3 — Testing His Loyalty
JINU (cold, calculating):
How do we know we can trust you, Ji‑Hu?
JI‑HU:
I have info about Huntrix. Real info.
Like… Rumi is part demon herself.
SFX: The boys react — a sharp intake of breath.
JI‑HU (narration):
That hit something. Especially with Jinu.
SFX: Whispered conversation among the Saja Boys.
JINU (turning back):
Alright. We trust you.
JI‑HU (relieved exhale):
Good. So… what do you need from me?
SCENE 4 — The Honmoon Explained
SFX: Low ominous hum as the boys step closer.
JINU (explaining):
There are three things that keep the Honmoon open:
Souls… desperation… and fear.
JI‑HU:
Huntrix keeps fear low. Desperation’s low too.
And souls… the flow is basically gone.
JINU (impressed):
Exactly. That’s why we’re here.
JI‑HU (finishing the thought):
To increase the flow of souls. To weaken the Honmoon.
JINU:
See? You get it.
SCENE 5 — The Mission
JINU:
Here’s what we need from you.
Provide a distraction for Huntrix.
Keep them busy.
While we get demons into the world to steal souls.
JI‑HU (steady, committed):
I’ll do what I can.
SFX: Ji‑Hu turns and runs off.
JI‑HU (narration):
I had what I needed.
Now I just had to find Rumi…
and hope she wasn’t too mad at me for this.
Episode 4
SCENE 1 — Back Alleys, Late Afternoon
SFX: Echoing footsteps, distant traffic, faint wind.
JI‑HU (calling out):
Rumi?!
Rumi?!
JI‑HU (narration):
She said she’d be here in five minutes.
It’s been twenty.
SFX: His voice echoes. Silence… then—
MIRA (off‑screen, sharp):
Who are you?! Why are you after Rumi?!
JI‑HU (startled, shouting back):
My name is Ji‑Hu Kang! I’m a fan of Huntrix—
I just wanted her autograph!
SFX: Footsteps approaching through fog.
MIRA (revealing herself, suspicious):
What are you doing back here? Why would she be here?
JI‑HU (thinking fast):
I thought she’d be going into the bathhouse… or coming out.
MIRA (laughs):
I wish. I’ve tried getting her to come to the bathhouse for ages.
She keeps saying no.
JI‑HU (muttering):
Workaholic.
SFX: A familiar chuckle from behind.
SCENE 2 — Rumi Appears
RUMI (teasing):
I can’t disagree, Ji‑Hu.
SFX: Mira steps aside.
RUMI (to Mira):
I’ve got this. Go check on Zoey.
MIRA:
Alright.
SFX: Mira runs off.
RUMI (lower voice):
What are you doing here?
JI‑HU (urgent whisper):
I need to talk to you about the Honmoon.
RUMI:
Not now. We’ve got a demon fight happening.
JI‑HU:
Okay—this evening. Nansam Bridge.
I’ll explain everything there.
RUMI:
What time?
JI‑HU:
Six‑ish?
RUMI:
Fine. See you then.
SCENE 3 — Nansam Bridge, Evening
SFX: Soft wind, distant city noise.
RUMI (grumbling):
I can’t stand people who arrange meetings being late to them—
JI‑HU (whispering right behind her):
Nor can I.
SFX: Rumi shrieks and falls backward onto grass.
RUMI (flustered):
You lured me all the way out here to jumpscare me, Ji‑Hu?!
JI‑HU (laughing):
No. I wanted to talk about the Honmoon.
SFX: He hops down from the wall.
SCENE 4 — The Revelation
RUMI (leaning on the wall):
Alright. What did you find out?
JI‑HU:
I talked to the Saja Boys.
They told me something important.
RUMI:
Go on…
JI‑HU:
The Honmoon relies on three things to stay open:
A steady flow of souls… desperation… and fear.
RUMI:
Okay…
JI‑HU:
You and the others have gotten rid of almost all the fear in Seoul.
Desperation is naturally low.
And the flow of souls?
Basically nonexistent.
RUMI:
So we have time?
JI‑HU:
Exactly. Time to seal it for good.
SCENE 5 — The Plan
RUMI:
But how do we seal it?
JI‑HU:
The Honmoon turns gold when you perform.
So you need a performance unlike any other—
one everyone will see.
RUMI (thinking):
The biggest stage…
The Idol Awards.
JI‑HU:
Correct.
If Huntrix wins, desperation and fear drop to zero.
Souls stay low.
The Honmoon turns gold permanently.
RUMI (skeptical):
So all we have to do is win a song contest?
JI‑HU (laughing):
I seriously think my neck is going to snap with all this nodding.
Yes, Rumi. Win the Idol Awards. Seal the Honmoon.
SCENE 6 — Trust
SFX: Soft breeze.
RUMI (quiet, searching his eyes):
Alright… I believe you.
But it’s hard to accept that a song contest decides everything.
JI‑HU:
It just decides the route.
Win, and it’s sealed.
Lose… and you’ll have to take the long way.
More demon fights. Close calls.
Maybe something like what happened with your mum.
RUMI (soft gasp):
So if we lose…
JI‑HU:
There will be other generations of hunters.
SFX: A long pause.
RUMI (soft, vulnerable):
Will you be there?
You’ve helped me so much this week.
I don’t think I can do it without you.
JI‑HU (gentle):
If you want me there… I’ll be there.
SFX: Rumi suddenly hugs him tightly.
RUMI (muffled):
You know you won’t hurt me by hugging me back, right?
JI‑HU (awkward laugh):
I just wasn’t expecting it.
RUMI (teasing):
One moment I ask you to be there…
Next moment you’re struggling to breathe because I’m holding you too tight?
JI‑HU:
Pretty much.
SFX: Both laugh.
SCENE 7 — A New Bond
RUMI (soft):
Thanks for the help, Ji‑Hu.
JI‑HU:
Anytime. I’ll see you soon.
SFX: Ji‑Hu starts to walk away.
RUMI (calling out):
Ji‑Hu, wait!
SFX: He stops.
RUMI (hopeful):
After the awards…
maybe we could try being friends.
Not just allies.
JI‑HU (warm smile in his voice):
Sure. I’d like that.
SFX: Ji‑Hu walks off into the night.
Episode 5
SCENE 1 — Idol Awards Backstage, Night
SFX: Distant crowd cheering, muffled music from the stage.
JI‑HU (narration):
Backstage at the Idol Awards. The biggest night of Huntrix’s career… and the night everything was supposed to change.
RUMI (soft, grateful):
Thanks again for being here, Ji‑Hu.
JI‑HU (teasing):
For the—hang on—
counts under his breath
…473rd time, I wouldn’t miss this even if my grandma was on her deathbed.
SFX: Rumi laughs quietly.
SFX: The opening beat of “Soda Pop” starts on stage.
JI‑HU (groaning):
Ugh. That song’s cornier than corn on the cob.
RUMI (laughing):
Can’t disagree, Ji‑Hu.
SCENE 2 — Zoey and Mira Arrive
SFX: Footsteps behind them.
ZOEY (suspicious):
What are you doing here?
SFX: Ji‑Hu and Rumi spin around.
JI‑HU (awkward):
Well… this is awkward.
RUMI (sighing):
Time to come clean.
JI‑HU (stepping forward):
I’m not just a superfan, Mira.
I’ve been working with Rumi.
Which means… I’ve been working with you two as well.
ZOEY (confused):
Wait—what?
JI‑HU:
I’ve been “stealing” information from those performing monkeys out there.
Information on how to seal the Honmoon quickly.
MIRA (narrowing her eyes):
How do you even know about demons?
SCENE 3 — Ji‑Hu Reveals the Truth
JI‑HU (quiet, serious):
Right. I’ll tell you.
But please… don’t judge me for it.
SFX: Ji‑Hu slowly pulls up his sleeve.
ZOEY (shocked):
Y‑You’re…
JI‑HU:
…part demon.
Mum was human. Dad was demon.
SFX: Sleeve slides back down.
JI‑HU (hesitant):
But… I’ve hidden something else from you too, Rumi.
RUMI (confused):
What?
SCENE 4 — The Family Secret
JI‑HU (soft, emotional):
My mum died.
She was a Starlight Sister.
RUMI (breath catching):
That’s my mum… but that child can’t be you.
SFX: Ji‑Hu swipes to another photo.
JI‑HU:
This one was three years later.
SFX: Rumi gasps quietly.
RUMI (barely a whisper):
How do you…?
JI‑HU:
I was there.
In the hospital.
When our mum gave birth to you.
SFX: Rumi’s breath trembles.
JI‑HU:
She couldn’t take care of two children.
So she put me up for adoption.
I was gone two weeks later.
RUMI (voice breaking):
You’re not lying…
SFX: Rumi suddenly hugs him tightly.
JI‑HU (soft, surprised):
Rumi…
RUMI (emotional):
That’s why you wanted to help me.
You’re my brother.
JI‑HU (quiet):
Yeah.
I didn’t want to lose another family member.
SCENE 5 — Called to the Stage
MIRA (interrupting gently):
Sorry to break up this heart‑warming moment, you two…
but we’ve got to go perform.
JI‑HU (laughing softly):
Go on. Show ’em who’s boss, Rumi.
SFX: Rumi hugs him once more before running off with Mira and Zoey.
JI‑HU (narration):
And just like that…
a weight I’d carried my whole life finally lifted.
Episode 6
SCENE 1 — Backstage, Transition Between Performances
SFX: Crowd cheering, muffled bass from the stage.
JI‑HU (narration):
Huntrix had just finished their set. The crowd loved them.
But the Saja Boys… they weren’t done.
HOST (on stage, booming):
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the stage…
THE SAJA BOYS!
SFX: Crowd erupts.
ZOEY (worried):
What are they doing?
Those outfits… that’s not normal stagewear.
MIRA (uneasy):
Something’s off. Really off.
JI‑HU (low, tense):
It’s worth watching. Carefully.
SCENE 2 — Saja Boys’ Final Attempt
SFX: Dark, heavy beat begins.
A low rumble of ominous energy.
BABY SAJA (on stage, powerful):
“Uh, bichi naneun fame, gyesok oechyeo, I'm your idol.
Thank you for the pain 'cause it got me going viral…”
ZOEY (jaw dropping):
Holy—
They’re good.
JI‑HU (closing her mouth gently):
You’re gonna catch flies if you keep that open.
SFX: Zoey’s jaw drops again.
JI‑HU (giving up):
…Never mind.
RUMI (anxious):
How are we supposed to win now?
MIRA (quiet):
Maybe… we just wing it?
SCENE 3 — Rumi’s Confession
RUMI (deep breath):
Before we perform…
I need to tell you both something.
ZOEY & MIRA (together):
What?
RUMI (soft, trembling):
I’m part demon.
SFX: Silence. A beat of shock.
MIRA (processing):
You’re… part demon?
RUMI:
No point hiding it anymore.
ZOEY (hurt):
Why didn’t you tell us?
RUMI:
Seline told me to keep quiet.
Said I needed to hide them until they were gone.
I wanted to tell you. So many times.
MIRA (turning to Ji‑Hu):
And you knew, didn’t you?
JI‑HU:
Yeah. I knew.
SCENE 4 — The Song Idea
ZOEY (thinking aloud):
Maybe… we focus the song on not hiding anymore.
RUMI (soft):
No more secrets.
No more lies.
MIRA:
What our voices sound like without the lies…
JI‑HU (inspired):
“What It Sounds Like.”
MIRA (snaps fingers):
That’s not bad.
ZOEY:
We’ll have to wing it.
The Saja Boys just finished.
SFX: Crowd roaring as the Saja Boys end their performance.
RUMI (determined):
Then let’s go.
No more hiding.
SCENE 5 — Preparing to Step Onstage
SFX: Footsteps as the girls move toward the stage entrance.
JI‑HU (calling after them):
Rumi!
RUMI (turning back):
Yeah?
JI‑HU (soft, supportive):
You’ve got this.
RUMI (smiling):
We’ve got this.
SFX: The stage lights rise.
The crowd quiets in anticipation.
ANNOUNCER (booming):
Huntrix, please return to the stage!
SFX: Rumi, Mira, and Zoey step out into the light.
JI‑HU (narration):
This was it.
The moment everything depended on.
Episode 7
SCENE 1 — Onstage: Huntrix’s Final Performance
SFX: Crowd murmuring, lights shifting, quiet anticipation.
ANNOUNCER (booming):
Huntrix, the stage is yours!
SFX: Footsteps as Rumi, Mira, and Zoey take their positions.
JI‑HU (narration, tense):
This was it.
The performance that could seal the Honmoon… or doom it.
SFX: Music begins — soft, emotional instrumental.
SCENE 2 — The Song “What It Sounds Like”
RUMI (singing, raw and honest):
“Nothing but the truth now…
Nothing but the proof of what I am…”
JI‑HU (narration):
I’d never heard her sing like this.
No fear. No lies. Just… Rumi.
ZOEY (singing):
“I broke into a million pieces, and I can’t go back…”
MIRA (singing):
“The scars are part of me… darkness and harmony…”
ALL THREE (singing together):
“My voice without the lies…
This is what it sounds like.”
SFX: The crowd erupts into cheers.
SCENE 3 — Backstage After the Song
SFX: Rumi runs offstage, breathless and exhilarated.
RUMI (excited, breathless):
Ji‑Hu! How did I do?
JI‑HU (warm, proud):
Fantastic.
If that doesn’t seal the Honmoon… nothing will.
SFX: The host returns to the stage.
SCENE 4 — The Awards Begin
HOST (projecting):
The votes are in!
They’ve been counted and independently verified.
And now… the results!
SFX: Drumroll.
HOST:
Artist of the Year goes to…
HUNTRIX!
SFX: Massive cheer.
JI‑HU (laughing):
Go on. It’s your time to shine.
SFX: Rumi runs back onstage with Mira and Zoey.
SCENE 5 — More Awards
HOST:
Best New Artist goes to… SAJA BOYS!
SFX: Applause.
HOST:
Song of the Year goes to…
“What It Sounds Like” by Huntrix!
SFX: Another huge cheer.
JI‑HU (narration):
One award left.
The one that mattered most.
SCENE 6 — The Deciding Moment
HOST (dramatic):
And finally…
The Worldwide Icon of the Year goes to…
SFX: Long pause. Crowd holding its breath.
HOST:
HUNTRIX!!!
SFX: Explosive cheering, screaming fans, confetti cannons.
JI‑HU (narration, heart pounding):
They did it.
They actually did it.
SCENE 7 — Rumi’s Speech
SFX: Rumi steps up to the mic.
RUMI (emotional, steady):
Firstly… thank you, everyone, for voting for us.
But there’s someone I really need to thank.
Someone who’s been by my side these past few weeks.
RUMI (calling out):
Ji‑Hu… can you come to the stage?
JI‑HU (stunned whisper):
She… wants me up there?
SFX: Ji‑Hu walks onto the stage, crowd cheering.
RUMI (soft, heartfelt):
Ji‑Hu… you helped me so much.
You were there when I needed you.
You made me laugh.
You were a shoulder to cry on.
A wall that held me up.
And I’ll never forget that.
JI‑HU (speechless):
Rumi…
RUMI (hugging him):
You’re as good as family to me.
Always.
JI‑HU (soft, emotional):
You’re family too.
Episode 8
SCENE 1 — After the Ceremony
SFX: Coffee shop ambience — mugs clinking, quiet chatter.
ZOEY (excited):
So… what’s the Honmoon like now?
MIRA:
Yeah, tell us!
RUMI (smiling):
It’s golden.
We did it.
JI‑HU (sipping coffee):
You would’ve done it eventually.
MIRA (snorts):
Oh please.
We wouldn’t have gotten that info without you.
ZOEY:
You deserve the credit too.
JI‑HU (teasing Rumi):
Before you get back on stage… maybe you three should take a hiatus.
RUMI (shocking everyone):
I can’t agree more.
ZOEY (gasp):
Wait—are you saying—
RUMI:
Yes.
I’ll go to the bathhouse with you three.
SFX: Zoey and Mira squeal and hug Rumi.
JI‑HU (laughing):
This is the beginning of something new.
SCENE 2 — Outside the Coffee Shop
SFX: Door opens, street ambience.
RUMI (walking beside Ji‑Hu):
You know…
I still can’t believe everything that happened.
JI‑HU:
Me neither.
RUMI (soft):
Thank you.
For everything.
For helping me.
For being there.
For being… family.
JI‑HU (warm):
You’ll always be family to me.
No matter what.
SFX: Rumi steps closer and hugs him gently.
RUMI (quiet):
I’m glad you’re in my life, Ji‑Hu.
JI‑HU (soft laugh):
I’m glad you’re in mine too.
SCENE 3 — Looking Toward the Future
SFX: Light breeze, city sounds.
MIRA (calling out):
Rumi! Ji‑Hu!
Come on, we’re gonna be late!
ZOEY (playful):
Bathhouse time!
RUMI (laughing):
Alright, alright! We’re coming!
JI‑HU (narration):
This wasn’t the end.
Not even close.
This was the beginning of something new.
A new life.
A new family.
A new future.
RUMI (smiling at him):
Ready?
JI‑HU (smiling back):
Always.
SFX: Footsteps as they walk off together.
JI‑HU (narration, final line):
And whatever came next…
we’d face it together.

SFX: Quick shuffle as Ji‑Hu hides.
JI‑HU (whisper):
Shoot—someone’s here.
SFX: Hoodie rustling as he pulls it on.
JI‑HU (narration):
When I look again, she’s bent over, gasping for breath.
JI‑HU (soft, cautious):
Hey… are you okay?
SCENE 3 — Close‑up on Rumi
RUMI (startled gasp):
Ah—!
SFX: Her arm shifts, sleeve torn.
JI‑HU (narration):
For a moment… I see them. Demon patterns. Just like mine.
RUMI (trying to steady her breathing):
Yeah… I’m okay. Just out of breath, that’s all.
JI‑HU (concerned):
Your arm’s bleeding. Can I look at that cut? Looks bad.
RUMI (hesitant, then soft):
…Okay.
SCENE 4 — Ji‑Hu bandages her arm
SFX: First‑aid kit opening, bandage wrapping.
JI‑HU (gentle):
That’s not too tight, is it?
RUMI:
No… thanks.
SFX: Brief silence.
RUMI (quiet, uneasy):
You saw my patterns, didn’t you?
JI‑HU (honest):
Yeah. I saw them.
SCENE 5 — Truth Revealed
RUMI (tense):
Why are you not scared?
JI‑HU:
Why should I be? You’re part demon. That doesn’t make you one of them.
RUMI (sharp):
How do you know they’re demon patterns?
JI‑HU (after a breath):
Because… I’m a part demon myself.
SFX: Hoodie sleeve sliding up.
RUMI (shocked):
You—you’re a part demon?
JI‑HU:
Dad was a demon. Mum was human.
SCENE 6 — Demon Lore
RUMI (careful):
Do… do you hear Gwi’Ma?
JI‑HU:
Yeah. His voice is in my head a lot, but he doesn’t control me.
RUMI:
Can you see the Honmoon?
JI‑HU:
No. But I know about it. I know the Saja Boys are demons. I know the Honmoon is turning gold. I know about the hunters.
I know a lot about demons.
RUMI (serious):
Are you against Gwi’Ma?
JI‑HU:
I’ve wanted to take him down since the first time I heard his voice.
SCENE 7 — Interrupted
SFX: Noise from the bathhouse.
RUMI (alert):
That’ll be Zoey and Mira. You’d better go.
JI‑HU:
Good idea.
SFX: Ji‑Hu hands her something.
JI‑HU:
Here—my number. I’ll text you soon with more info about the Honmoon and the demons’ plans.
SFX: Ji‑Hu running off.
JI‑HU (narration):
And just like that… everything changed.
Episode 2
SCENE 1 — Ji‑Hu’s Apartment, Night
SFX: Quiet room ambience. Clock ticking. Phone buzzing faintly.
JI‑HU (narration, conflicted):
I sit in my living room, weighing up my options. Help Rumi and Huntrix… or stay out of it and keep myself safe.
SFX: Phone buzz.
JI‑HU (surprised):
Huh?
SFX: Phone unlock sound.
JI‑HU (reading aloud softly):
“Test Message. Hope you made it home OK.”
JI‑HU (narration, softer):
She messaged me first. That… means something.
SFX: Typing.
JI‑HU (typing aloud):
“Made it home safe, hope you made it back all good.”
SFX: Message sent. A short pause. Another buzz.
JI‑HU (reading):
“Yeah, made it back OK. How do you think we could help each other?”
JI‑HU (narration):
How do we help each other? I didn’t even know where to start.
SCENE 2 — Ji‑Hu Thinking
SFX: Soft hum of the room. Chair creaking as he leans back.
JI‑HU (narration):
I sat there for an hour. Nothing. No plan. No ideas. Just… pressure.
JI‑HU (determined exhale):
Alright. Think, Ji‑Hu. Think.
SFX: Phone typing begins again.
JI‑HU (typing aloud):
“I can’t think of anything right now, but I’m also short on information. So I’m thinking of fooling the Saja Boys into thinking they could trust me, and I feed information back to you.”
JI‑HU (narration):
I double‑checked it. Triple‑checked it. Didn’t want it to sound like betrayal.
SFX: Message sent.
SFX: Ten seconds of silence… then a buzz.
JI‑HU (reading):
“It’s risky, but it could work. Make sure that you don’t endanger yourself.”
JI‑HU (soft chuckle):
She really cares.
SCENE 3 — The Problem
SFX: Phone typing.
JI‑HU (typing aloud):
“Hang on. How am I going to earn their trust?”
SFX: Message sent. Quick reply.
JI‑HU (reading):
“That’s actually a good point LOL. Maybe feed them some information about us that you know?”
JI‑HU (concerned):
How do I do that without putting them in danger?
SFX: Typing.
JI‑HU (typing aloud):
“How would I do that without endangering yourselves?”
SFX: Message sent. Another buzz.
JI‑HU (reading):
“Another good point haha. Maybe some low‑stake information, such as the fact I’m part demon. Jinu already knows, but that could cement you with their trust.”
JI‑HU (narration):
Low‑stake information. Right. That could work.
SFX: Ji‑Hu sends a thumbs‑up emoji.
SCENE 4 — Ending the Night
SFX: Ji‑Hu collapsing onto his bed.
JI‑HU (narration, fading):
I’d done enough thinking for one night.
Tomorrow… I’d start the plan.
SFX: Slow fade into silence.
Episode 3
SCENE 1 — Busy Street, Daytime
SFX: City ambience, chatter, footsteps.
JI‑HU (narration):
I’m walking down the street when I see them — the Saja Boys. Talking to a fan. Perfect chance… or a terrible idea.
JI‑HU (deep breath):
Alright. Showtime.
SFX: Ji‑Hu steps forward.
JI‑HU (friendly, pretending to be casual):
Ji‑Hu Kang. Big fan.
JINU (warm, polite):
Hello, Ji‑Hu. Nice to hear you’re a fan.
SFX: Ji‑Hu pulls Jinu slightly closer.
JI‑HU (low whisper):
I know you’re a demon. I want to work with you.
SFX: Sudden silence. The boys shift, murmuring among themselves.
ROMANCE (suspicious):
Come with us.
SCENE 2 — Abandoned Alleyway
SFX: Echoing footsteps, distant traffic fades.
ABBY (sharp):
Alright. Talk. How do you know we’re demons?
JI‑HU:
I saw your patterns during the Soda Pop performance.
ROMANCE:
And how do you know what demon patterns look like?
JI‑HU:
Because I’m part demon myself.
SFX: Hoodie sleeve slides up.
SAJA BOYS (collective gasp):
…
JI‑HU:
See? Same patterns.
SFX: Sleeve slides back down.
SCENE 3 — Testing His Loyalty
JINU (cold, calculating):
How do we know we can trust you, Ji‑Hu?
JI‑HU:
I have info about Huntrix. Real info.
Like… Rumi is part demon herself.
SFX: The boys react — a sharp intake of breath.
JI‑HU (narration):
That hit something. Especially with Jinu.
SFX: Whispered conversation among the Saja Boys.
JINU (turning back):
Alright. We trust you.
JI‑HU (relieved exhale):
Good. So… what do you need from me?
SCENE 4 — The Honmoon Explained
SFX: Low ominous hum as the boys step closer.
JINU (explaining):
There are three things that keep the Honmoon open:
Souls… desperation… and fear.
JI‑HU:
Huntrix keeps fear low. Desperation’s low too.
And souls… the flow is basically gone.
JINU (impressed):
Exactly. That’s why we’re here.
JI‑HU (finishing the thought):
To increase the flow of souls. To weaken the Honmoon.
JINU:
See? You get it.
SCENE 5 — The Mission
JINU:
Here’s what we need from you.
Provide a distraction for Huntrix.
Keep them busy.
While we get demons into the world to steal souls.
JI‑HU (steady, committed):
I’ll do what I can.
SFX: Ji‑Hu turns and runs off.
JI‑HU (narration):
I had what I needed.
Now I just had to find Rumi…
and hope she wasn’t too mad at me for this.
Episode 4
SCENE 1 — Back Alleys, Late Afternoon
SFX: Echoing footsteps, distant traffic, faint wind.
JI‑HU (calling out):
Rumi?!
Rumi?!
JI‑HU (narration):
She said she’d be here in five minutes.
It’s been twenty.
SFX: His voice echoes. Silence… then—
MIRA (off‑screen, sharp):
Who are you?! Why are you after Rumi?!
JI‑HU (startled, shouting back):
My name is Ji‑Hu Kang! I’m a fan of Huntrix—
I just wanted her autograph!
SFX: Footsteps approaching through fog.
MIRA (revealing herself, suspicious):
What are you doing back here? Why would she be here?
JI‑HU (thinking fast):
I thought she’d be going into the bathhouse… or coming out.
MIRA (laughs):
I wish. I’ve tried getting her to come to the bathhouse for ages.
She keeps saying no.
JI‑HU (muttering):
Workaholic.
SFX: A familiar chuckle from behind.
SCENE 2 — Rumi Appears
RUMI (teasing):
I can’t disagree, Ji‑Hu.
SFX: Mira steps aside.
RUMI (to Mira):
I’ve got this. Go check on Zoey.
MIRA:
Alright.
SFX: Mira runs off.
RUMI (lower voice):
What are you doing here?
JI‑HU (urgent whisper):
I need to talk to you about the Honmoon.
RUMI:
Not now. We’ve got a demon fight happening.
JI‑HU:
Okay—this evening. Nansam Bridge.
I’ll explain everything there.
RUMI:
What time?
JI‑HU:
Six‑ish?
RUMI:
Fine. See you then.
SCENE 3 — Nansam Bridge, Evening
SFX: Soft wind, distant city noise.
RUMI (grumbling):
I can’t stand people who arrange meetings being late to them—
JI‑HU (whispering right behind her):
Nor can I.
SFX: Rumi shrieks and falls backward onto grass.
RUMI (flustered):
You lured me all the way out here to jumpscare me, Ji‑Hu?!
JI‑HU (laughing):
No. I wanted to talk about the Honmoon.
SFX: He hops down from the wall.
SCENE 4 — The Revelation
RUMI (leaning on the wall):
Alright. What did you find out?
JI‑HU:
I talked to the Saja Boys.
They told me something important.
RUMI:
Go on…
JI‑HU:
The Honmoon relies on three things to stay open:
A steady flow of souls… desperation… and fear.
RUMI:
Okay…
JI‑HU:
You and the others have gotten rid of almost all the fear in Seoul.
Desperation is naturally low.
And the flow of souls?
Basically nonexistent.
RUMI:
So we have time?
JI‑HU:
Exactly. Time to seal it for good.
SCENE 5 — The Plan
RUMI:
But how do we seal it?
JI‑HU:
The Honmoon turns gold when you perform.
So you need a performance unlike any other—
one everyone will see.
RUMI (thinking):
The biggest stage…
The Idol Awards.
JI‑HU:
Correct.
If Huntrix wins, desperation and fear drop to zero.
Souls stay low.
The Honmoon turns gold permanently.
RUMI (skeptical):
So all we have to do is win a song contest?
JI‑HU (laughing):
I seriously think my neck is going to snap with all this nodding.
Yes, Rumi. Win the Idol Awards. Seal the Honmoon.
SCENE 6 — Trust
SFX: Soft breeze.
RUMI (quiet, searching his eyes):
Alright… I believe you.
But it’s hard to accept that a song contest decides everything.
JI‑HU:
It just decides the route.
Win, and it’s sealed.
Lose… and you’ll have to take the long way.
More demon fights. Close calls.
Maybe something like what happened with your mum.
RUMI (soft gasp):
So if we lose…
JI‑HU:
There will be other generations of hunters.
SFX: A long pause.
RUMI (soft, vulnerable):
Will you be there?
You’ve helped me so much this week.
I don’t think I can do it without you.
JI‑HU (gentle):
If you want me there… I’ll be there.
SFX: Rumi suddenly hugs him tightly.
RUMI (muffled):
You know you won’t hurt me by hugging me back, right?
JI‑HU (awkward laugh):
I just wasn’t expecting it.
RUMI (teasing):
One moment I ask you to be there…
Next moment you’re struggling to breathe because I’m holding you too tight?
JI‑HU:
Pretty much.
SFX: Both laugh.
SCENE 7 — A New Bond
RUMI (soft):
Thanks for the help, Ji‑Hu.
JI‑HU:
Anytime. I’ll see you soon.
SFX: Ji‑Hu starts to walk away.
RUMI (calling out):
Ji‑Hu, wait!
SFX: He stops.
RUMI (hopeful):
After the awards…
maybe we could try being friends.
Not just allies.
JI‑HU (warm smile in his voice):
Sure. I’d like that.
SFX: Ji‑Hu walks off into the night.
Episode 5
SCENE 1 — Idol Awards Backstage, Night
SFX: Distant crowd cheering, muffled music from the stage.
JI‑HU (narration):
Backstage at the Idol Awards. The biggest night of Huntrix’s career… and the night everything was supposed to change.
RUMI (soft, grateful):
Thanks again for being here, Ji‑Hu.
JI‑HU (teasing):
For the—hang on—
counts under his breath
…473rd time, I wouldn’t miss this even if my grandma was on her deathbed.
SFX: Rumi laughs quietly.
SFX: The opening beat of “Soda Pop” starts on stage.
JI‑HU (groaning):
Ugh. That song’s cornier than corn on the cob.
RUMI (laughing):
Can’t disagree, Ji‑Hu.
SCENE 2 — Zoey and Mira Arrive
SFX: Footsteps behind them.
ZOEY (suspicious):
What are you doing here?
SFX: Ji‑Hu and Rumi spin around.
JI‑HU (awkward):
Well… this is awkward.
RUMI (sighing):
Time to come clean.
JI‑HU (stepping forward):
I’m not just a superfan, Mira.
I’ve been working with Rumi.
Which means… I’ve been working with you two as well.
ZOEY (confused):
Wait—what?
JI‑HU:
I’ve been “stealing” information from those performing monkeys out there.
Information on how to seal the Honmoon quickly.
MIRA (narrowing her eyes):
How do you even know about demons?
SCENE 3 — Ji‑Hu Reveals the Truth
JI‑HU (quiet, serious):
Right. I’ll tell you.
But please… don’t judge me for it.
SFX: Ji‑Hu slowly pulls up his sleeve.
ZOEY (shocked):
Y‑You’re…
JI‑HU:
…part demon.
Mum was human. Dad was demon.
SFX: Sleeve slides back down.
JI‑HU (hesitant):
But… I’ve hidden something else from you too, Rumi.
RUMI (confused):
What?
SCENE 4 — The Family Secret
JI‑HU (soft, emotional):
My mum died.
She was a Starlight Sister.
RUMI (breath catching):
That’s my mum… but that child can’t be you.
SFX: Ji‑Hu swipes to another photo.
JI‑HU:
This one was three years later.
SFX: Rumi gasps quietly.
RUMI (barely a whisper):
How do you…?
JI‑HU:
I was there.
In the hospital.
When our mum gave birth to you.
SFX: Rumi’s breath trembles.
JI‑HU:
She couldn’t take care of two children.
So she put me up for adoption.
I was gone two weeks later.
RUMI (voice breaking):
You’re not lying…
SFX: Rumi suddenly hugs him tightly.
JI‑HU (soft, surprised):
Rumi…
RUMI (emotional):
That’s why you wanted to help me.
You’re my brother.
JI‑HU (quiet):
Yeah.
I didn’t want to lose another family member.
SCENE 5 — Called to the Stage
MIRA (interrupting gently):
Sorry to break up this heart‑warming moment, you two…
but we’ve got to go perform.
JI‑HU (laughing softly):
Go on. Show ’em who’s boss, Rumi.
SFX: Rumi hugs him once more before running off with Mira and Zoey.
JI‑HU (narration):
And just like that…
a weight I’d carried my whole life finally lifted.
Episode 6
SCENE 1 — Backstage, Transition Between Performances
SFX: Crowd cheering, muffled bass from the stage.
JI‑HU (narration):
Huntrix had just finished their set. The crowd loved them.
But the Saja Boys… they weren’t done.
HOST (on stage, booming):
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to the stage…
THE SAJA BOYS!
SFX: Crowd erupts.
ZOEY (worried):
What are they doing?
Those outfits… that’s not normal stagewear.
MIRA (uneasy):
Something’s off. Really off.
JI‑HU (low, tense):
It’s worth watching. Carefully.
SCENE 2 — Saja Boys’ Final Attempt
SFX: Dark, heavy beat begins.
A low rumble of ominous energy.
BABY SAJA (on stage, powerful):
“Uh, bichi naneun fame, gyesok oechyeo, I'm your idol.
Thank you for the pain 'cause it got me going viral…”
ZOEY (jaw dropping):
Holy—
They’re good.
JI‑HU (closing her mouth gently):
You’re gonna catch flies if you keep that open.
SFX: Zoey’s jaw drops again.
JI‑HU (giving up):
…Never mind.
RUMI (anxious):
How are we supposed to win now?
MIRA (quiet):
Maybe… we just wing it?
SCENE 3 — Rumi’s Confession
RUMI (deep breath):
Before we perform…
I need to tell you both something.
ZOEY & MIRA (together):
What?
RUMI (soft, trembling):
I’m part demon.
SFX: Silence. A beat of shock.
MIRA (processing):
You’re… part demon?
RUMI:
No point hiding it anymore.
ZOEY (hurt):
Why didn’t you tell us?
RUMI:
Seline told me to keep quiet.
Said I needed to hide them until they were gone.
I wanted to tell you. So many times.
MIRA (turning to Ji‑Hu):
And you knew, didn’t you?
JI‑HU:
Yeah. I knew.
SCENE 4 — The Song Idea
ZOEY (thinking aloud):
Maybe… we focus the song on not hiding anymore.
RUMI (soft):
No more secrets.
No more lies.
MIRA:
What our voices sound like without the lies…
JI‑HU (inspired):
“What It Sounds Like.”
MIRA (snaps fingers):
That’s not bad.
ZOEY:
We’ll have to wing it.
The Saja Boys just finished.
SFX: Crowd roaring as the Saja Boys end their performance.
RUMI (determined):
Then let’s go.
No more hiding.
SCENE 5 — Preparing to Step Onstage
SFX: Footsteps as the girls move toward the stage entrance.
JI‑HU (calling after them):
Rumi!
RUMI (turning back):
Yeah?
JI‑HU (soft, supportive):
You’ve got this.
RUMI (smiling):
We’ve got this.
SFX: The stage lights rise.
The crowd quiets in anticipation.
ANNOUNCER (booming):
Huntrix, please return to the stage!
SFX: Rumi, Mira, and Zoey step out into the light.
JI‑HU (narration):
This was it.
The moment everything depended on.
Episode 7
SCENE 1 — Onstage: Huntrix’s Final Performance
SFX: Crowd murmuring, lights shifting, quiet anticipation.
ANNOUNCER (booming):
Huntrix, the stage is yours!
SFX: Footsteps as Rumi, Mira, and Zoey take their positions.
JI‑HU (narration, tense):
This was it.
The performance that could seal the Honmoon… or doom it.
SFX: Music begins — soft, emotional instrumental.
SCENE 2 — The Song “What It Sounds Like”
RUMI (singing, raw and honest):
“Nothing but the truth now…
Nothing but the proof of what I am…”
JI‑HU (narration):
I’d never heard her sing like this.
No fear. No lies. Just… Rumi.
ZOEY (singing):
“I broke into a million pieces, and I can’t go back…”
MIRA (singing):
“The scars are part of me… darkness and harmony…”
ALL THREE (singing together):
“My voice without the lies…
This is what it sounds like.”
SFX: The crowd erupts into cheers.
SCENE 3 — Backstage After the Song
SFX: Rumi runs offstage, breathless and exhilarated.
RUMI (excited, breathless):
Ji‑Hu! How did I do?
JI‑HU (warm, proud):
Fantastic.
If that doesn’t seal the Honmoon… nothing will.
SFX: The host returns to the stage.
SCENE 4 — The Awards Begin
HOST (projecting):
The votes are in!
They’ve been counted and independently verified.
And now… the results!
SFX: Drumroll.
HOST:
Artist of the Year goes to…
HUNTRIX!
SFX: Massive cheer.
JI‑HU (laughing):
Go on. It’s your time to shine.
SFX: Rumi runs back onstage with Mira and Zoey.
SCENE 5 — More Awards
HOST:
Best New Artist goes to… SAJA BOYS!
SFX: Applause.
HOST:
Song of the Year goes to…
“What It Sounds Like” by Huntrix!
SFX: Another huge cheer.
JI‑HU (narration):
One award left.
The one that mattered most.
SCENE 6 — The Deciding Moment
HOST (dramatic):
And finally…
The Worldwide Icon of the Year goes to…
SFX: Long pause. Crowd holding its breath.
HOST:
HUNTRIX!!!
SFX: Explosive cheering, screaming fans, confetti cannons.
JI‑HU (narration, heart pounding):
They did it.
They actually did it.
SCENE 7 — Rumi’s Speech
SFX: Rumi steps up to the mic.
RUMI (emotional, steady):
Firstly… thank you, everyone, for voting for us.
But there’s someone I really need to thank.
Someone who’s been by my side these past few weeks.
RUMI (calling out):
Ji‑Hu… can you come to the stage?
JI‑HU (stunned whisper):
She… wants me up there?
SFX: Ji‑Hu walks onto the stage, crowd cheering.
RUMI (soft, heartfelt):
Ji‑Hu… you helped me so much.
You were there when I needed you.
You made me laugh.
You were a shoulder to cry on.
A wall that held me up.
And I’ll never forget that.
JI‑HU (speechless):
Rumi…
RUMI (hugging him):
You’re as good as family to me.
Always.
JI‑HU (soft, emotional):
You’re family too.
Episode 8
SCENE 1 — After the Ceremony
SFX: Coffee shop ambience — mugs clinking, quiet chatter.
ZOEY (excited):
So… what’s the Honmoon like now?
MIRA:
Yeah, tell us!
RUMI (smiling):
It’s golden.
We did it.
JI‑HU (sipping coffee):
You would’ve done it eventually.
MIRA (snorts):
Oh please.
We wouldn’t have gotten that info without you.
ZOEY:
You deserve the credit too.
JI‑HU (teasing Rumi):
Before you get back on stage… maybe you three should take a hiatus.
RUMI (shocking everyone):
I can’t agree more.
ZOEY (gasp):
Wait—are you saying—
RUMI:
Yes.
I’ll go to the bathhouse with you three.
SFX: Zoey and Mira squeal and hug Rumi.
JI‑HU (laughing):
This is the beginning of something new.
SCENE 2 — Outside the Coffee Shop
SFX: Door opens, street ambience.
RUMI (walking beside Ji‑Hu):
You know…
I still can’t believe everything that happened.
JI‑HU:
Me neither.
RUMI (soft):
Thank you.
For everything.
For helping me.
For being there.
For being… family.
JI‑HU (warm):
You’ll always be family to me.
No matter what.
SFX: Rumi steps closer and hugs him gently.
RUMI (quiet):
I’m glad you’re in my life, Ji‑Hu.
JI‑HU (soft laugh):
I’m glad you’re in mine too.
SCENE 3 — Looking Toward the Future
SFX: Light breeze, city sounds.
MIRA (calling out):
Rumi! Ji‑Hu!
Come on, we’re gonna be late!
ZOEY (playful):
Bathhouse time!
RUMI (laughing):
Alright, alright! We’re coming!
JI‑HU (narration):
This wasn’t the end.
Not even close.
This was the beginning of something new.
A new life.
A new family.
A new future.
RUMI (smiling at him):
Ready?
JI‑HU (smiling back):
Always.
SFX: Footsteps as they walk off together.
JI‑HU (narration, final line):
And whatever came next…
we’d face it together.

This looks interesting!
For the art, are you planning on having only one main artist to do all the episodes, one artist per episode (so 8 artists total), or have a team of artists?
I would suggest the last one to make the workload easier on each person, so you could have a storyboarder (decides poses, camera angles, layout), penciler & inker (the actual drawing and lineart) and colorist (color, shade, render, etc.)
I don't think I have the time to be a full artist for this, but I have comic art experience and can do storyboarding to get the project started, if you'd like.

Heya, thanks for asking! I'm planning on one main artist, but I can modify it so there's a team of artists. I like the idea you've come up with, I think you can skip the main applications, so welcome aboard. I'll be in contact with further info soon.

I labeled the parts with dialogue by numbering the caption boxes/speech bubbles. The numbers I used are below:

- It was a late evening, and I was walking home after a long day of work.
- Same route as always…the one where no one walks.
- The only place I can take off my hoodie and stop hiding my patterns.
- But tonight wasn’t going to be like any other.
- I sigh and turn into the alley…
- and that’s when I see her.
- Shoot—someone’s here.
- When I look again, she’s bent over, gasping for breath.
- Hey… are you okay?
- Ah—!
- For a moment… I see them.
- Demon patterns
- Just like mine.
- Yeah… I’m okay.
- Just out of breath, that’s all.
- Your arm’s bleeding.
- Can I look at that cut? Looks bad.
- …Okay.
- That’s not too tight, is it?
- No… thanks.
- You saw my patterns, didn’t you?
- Yeah. I saw them.
- Why are you not scared?
- Why should I be? You’re part demon. That doesn’t make you one of them.
- How do you know they’re demon patterns?
- Because…
- I’m a part demon myself.
- You—
- you’re a part demon?
- Dad was a demon. Mum was human.
- Do…
- do you hear Gwi’Ma?
- Yeah. His voice is in my head a lot, but he doesn’t control me.
- Can you see the Honmoon?
- No. But I know about it. I know the Saja Boys are demons. I know the Honmoon is turning gold. I know about the hunters. I know a lot about demons.
- Are you against Gwi’Ma?
- I’ve wanted to take him down since the first time I heard his voice.
- That’ll be Zoey and Mira. You’d better go.
- Good idea.
- Here—my number. I’ll text you soon with more info about the Honmoon and the demons’ plans.
- And just like that… everything changed.

Parts I haven't drawn yet:
SCENE 5 — Truth Revealed
RUMI (tense):
Why are you not scared?
JI‑HU:
Why should I be? You’re part demon. That doesn’t make you one of them.
RUMI (sharp):
How do you know they’re demon patterns?
JI‑HU (after a breath):
Because… I’m a part demon myself.
SFX: Hoodie sleeve sliding up.
RUMI (shocked):
You—you’re a part demon?
JI‑HU:
Dad was a demon. Mum was human.
SCENE 6 — Demon Lore
RUMI (careful):
Do… do you hear Gwi’Ma?
JI‑HU:
Yeah. His voice is in my head a lot, but he doesn’t control me.
RUMI:
Can you see the Honmoon?

JI‑HU:

SCENE 7 — Interrupted
SFX: Noise from the bathhouse.
RUMI (alert):
That’ll be Zoey and Mira. You’d better go.
JI‑HU:
Good idea.
SFX: Ji‑Hu hands her something.
JI‑HU:
Here—my number. I’ll text you soon with more info about the Honmoon and the demons’ plans.
SFX: Ji‑Hu running off.
JI‑HU (narration):
And just like that… everything changed.
Brilliant, thanks for sorting that. I'm considering not having voice actors, and it's just a basic comic. You'd still be involved, but it would mean we wouldn't have to wait about.

That makes sense. Don't give up hope yet, though; I'm planning to put up an announcement in the Requests forum when I'm done with the storyboard. It'll probably be easier to bring on new people once we have a proof of concept to show them.- snip -Brilliant, thanks for sorting that. Good idea, we'll see what's happening once episode 4's storyboards have been drawn

That makes sense, although considering how long episode 1's storyboards took, maybe I can post the request after episode 2 or 3? It'll be a lot easier if we can get even just a couple people helping out.- snip -Good idea, we'll see what's happening once episode 4's storyboards have been drawn
Edit: Would you look at this! We may be able to have VAs after all: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/872669/

Captions, Speech Bubbles, and Thought Bubbles Key:
Captions, Speech Bubbles, and Thought Bubbles Key:
- I sit in my living room, weighing up my options. Help Rumi and Huntrix…
- or stay out of it and keep myself safe.
- Huh?
- “Test Message. Hope you made it home OK.”
- She messaged me first. That… means something.
- “Made it home safe, hope you made it back all good.”
- “Yeah, made it back OK. How do you think we could help each other?”
- How do we help each other? I didn’t even know where to start.
- I sat there for an hour. Nothing. No plan. No ideas. Just… pressure.
- Alright. Think, Ji‑Hu. Think.
- “I can’t think of anything right now, but I’m also short on information. So I’m thinking of fooling the Saja Boys into thinking they could trust me, and I feed information back to you.”
- I double‑checked it. Triple‑checked it. Didn’t want it to sound like betrayal.
- “It’s risky, but it could work. Make sure that you don’t endanger yourself.”
- She really cares.
- “Hang on. How am I going to earn their trust?”
- “That’s actually a good point LOL. Maybe feed them some information about us that you know?”
- How do I do that without putting them in danger?
- “How would I do that without endangering yourselves?”
- “Another good point haha. Maybe some low‑stake information, such as the fact I’m part demon. Jinu already knows, but that could cement you with their trust.”
- Low‑stake information. Right. That could work.
- I’d done enough thinking for one night.
- Tomorrow… I’d start the plan.
