I think we should add age verification to scratch to keep everyone safe, it will only effect commenting and here's what the age groups might look like.

9-12
13-15
16-18
18+

I never said make a whole other website i said it would effect commenting only.

What if the AI is advanced? Why are roblox players refusing to show their face to an AI? What if the AI gets their age right?

Because Roblox is collecting their Data, It really isn't about safety it was more of collecting data and sell it, and what what happens is someone hacks Roblox and collects their Data, they would probably sell it for a profit.

No support. Tons of backlash and user privacy as said above. Also you do realize that Roblox's age verification provider “Persona” was tracking personal details about people who tried to verify their age.

Scratch is already safe enough with lots of moderation already in place, therefore age verification is not necessary. If age verification would be necessary what would it even be applicable to?

i think age verification does make sense a tad bit; because i dont think a 5 y/o would go along with a 16 y/o.

This age verification system is the exact reason why I permanently quit Roblox, and I don't want to have to repeat that with scratch. I'm not showing my face, especially to an AI that always gets things wrong.
