Scratch is literally a mess and is somewhat unusable.
Here are some issues me and others are experiencing:

• Text boxes won't work sometimes, completely preventing the user from moving them
  
• The site is slow and laggy and takes longer to reload, especially on profile comments (I know profile comments have always lagged but they're lagging more)
  
• At one point projects were being deleted upon being opened by the creator (I think they were restored though)
  
• The trending page is broken, there's literally no projects
  
• I tried to unshare a project and re-share it to put it at the top of my shared projects. Once I unshared it, it took multiple minutes for the Share button to return.
  
• You mostly cannot post comments without Scratch saying “Oops! Something went wrong posting your comment” (leading to many users commenting many times by mistake)
  
• Scratch has completely gone out twice in the last week, where almost every page said there were server issues and the Scratch Team had to shut down the website to fix it
  
• Scratch will sometimes just stop, and on the homepage you can only see featured projects and the search bar becomes abnormally large.
  
• Creating a project when Scratch “stops” will open a Scratch project with tutorials for beginners
  
• Scratchers have been logged out for no reason more often
  
• Sometimes you cannot save your projects
  
• Messages will sometimes say “Messages from the Scratch Team
  Oops! Looks like there was a problem getting some of your messages. Please try to reload this page.”
  

And many more issues!

So why is this happening?

I thought of 2 possibilities:
1. This is a huge, coordinated hacker/spammer attack. However, most attacks don't last for more than an hour, and rarely more than 1 day. Unless, multiple spammers/hackers are working together to lag Scratch.
2. There's an actual issue with the servers in Massachusetts that ST hasn't fixed yet.

Another theory I thought of: The lag started shortly after the sitewide AI boycott and the uproar against the new ToS. I don't know how that would affect lag though.

Anyway, yes, there have been countless glitches and bugs that everyone is experiencing, so I thought I'd put them all in one forum post. Scratch Team, please fix this website I already miss non laggy Scratch.

There's other issues mentioned in my post too.

Most of these fall under general server issues right now.

I think they're focusing all their attention on AI or whatever, instead of the things we actually need to code. I don't hate AI, but I think it'll only be detrimental to Scratch. But since we're talking about the glitches…. the index has been down for way too long! When will the Scratch Team fix it?

UHH WEIRD GITCH
MAYBE JUST AN ANOMLY, BUT WHENEVER I TRY TO ADD LIKE A RECTANGLE, IT COPY PASTES INTO LIKE A MILLION MORE THAT I CANT DELETE, THE MORE I DRAG, THE MORE SEEM TO APPEAR

They are likely adding all of these bug fixes to 4.0, but we'll never know

Last time, I tried to submit my posts, and my posts multiplied so much that the ST banned me for spam when I WASN'T GOING TO.
What is happening to the site nowadays?
