I am creating a game in Scratch and I would like to make a character selection system for 2 players on the same computer.

There are 9 available characters.
Player 1 must choose a character first.
Then Player 2 must choose their character.

Both players can choose the same character or different characters.

After both players have selected, the game should start automatically with the correct characters.

Can someone explain how to organize this properly in Scratch?
