Banning "Brazilian Phonk"
I suggest Scratch to ban Projects about “Brazilian Phonk”. These projects contain “brazilian phonk”, the music genre.
However, this means that the music is stolen from somewhere and reuploaded into Scratch.
Also, the genre is known for highly inappropiate lyrics. This website is about teaching kids how to code, not teaching them portugese curse words.

I speak Portuguese myself, and as you said, most of these “Brazilian phonk” songs have a vulgar translation.

Phonk as a whole genre is typically more of a mature more 13+ genre rather than it is a family friendly genre with very few family friendly songs.
Also, like most songs on scratch are ripped from something one way or another lol don't get why that's a defining factor

let’s play devil’s advocate:
fair use applies as long as the project has creative content
curse words are normally inaudible in these songs

let’s play devil’s advocate:I can counter those points though.

Fair use should not mean the way the brazilian phonk is usually served here (not as a background music or something of another project) but usually just the song playing and on the stage an image of it's cover.
Also, the curse words are not really all that inaudible. Even if you don't speak portugese, there are clearly audible curses, and often very audibly

Does that make it more appropriate for children if it is not the only genre with inappropriate lyrics?

It's already not allowed if it has inappropriate lyrics.

I'd say its more of a case-by-case scenario. If it contains curse words or breaks the guidelines in some way, report it. Otherwise, it's fine.

I speak Brazilian Portugese, and for the songs I heard (so far), it's not bad.
